Spectrum Eyeglass Repair

JJ was very helpful and did high-quality work. He fixed my glasses by resetting a temple into a frame front, and the prices were reasonable. They also have an awesome little display with some interesting pieces of hardware and unique frames. I wouldn't necessarily suggest coming in just to see the displays, but if you have to come in, take a look. If you have a repair need, I highly recommend Spectrum.

The best place! Dropped off my glasses yesterday. The turn around was so quick! They fixed the legs and shipped them to me within 24 hours! Seriously the best repair place!

Went in to get my temple wires to get fixed. Really easy procedure they told me. I came back to find them that they had broken them in half and that they would charge me $60 to fix them. And they would not fix the frame but retrofit them into another frame, even though I had payed for $200 frames. Not sure why I would pay an extra $60 when they just broke them for free. And I guess all they could do is tape them together . So definitely would not recommend them. None whatsoever never heard of someone break something and then charge me for their error. I highly discourage people coming here.

The staffs are knowledgeable and professional. They helped me resolve my glasses issue professionally, and honestly by helping me choose the right solution with less cost but effective resolution. I truly appreciate it. They fixed my glasses within 5-10 minutes wait time. I am extremely happy and satisfied with their service.

The right temple on my glasses broke at the hinge. The optical store told me they couldn't fix it, and it could only be soldered in a frozen open position. Well, Spectrum repaired it and put a new left temple on, too. It opens and closes nicely, too . Price was $55, pretty reasonable.

Today I stopped in at the Spectrum Eyeglass Repair shop in Crestwood. The frame on my glasses became wobbly over 2 decades of daily use. The agent at the desk inspected my glasses, quickly pinpointing the problem.She explained she would tighten up the arms but it would require bending the nose band on the frame which could possibly break the frame. I asked her to proceed and within just a few minutes my glasses were fixed perfectly and there was no charge even though I did not buy these glasses from them. I've had other work satisfyingly performed at Spectrum in the past and I want everyone to know their professionalism exceeds any expectations

I came in for a nosepad repair and they replaced them for less than $10. I was out in 10 minutes. Great experience!

I've been coming to Spectrum for years. They do a great job quickly for charge for big issues and no charge for minor fixes. This is a great place for repairs. Today I brought my glasses for repair to the arms as one broke off. They fixed me up in an hour. My only complaint is that when they returned my glasses, I had a new deep scratch on my lens towards the bottom INSIDE left lens as if during repair the tool was mishandled making the scratch. Normally scratches occur to the outside lens. Thank goodness it wasn't in my line of sight / view. I know that the scratch was not there before I brought it into the store because I had wore them all day with a missing arm and that scratch was not there. This is my word against theirs, I totally get it. I highly recommend taking a picture of your lenses before you drop them off. The lady left no room for me to dispute as if they were so perfect never to make a mistake. She could have checked with the tech and had a better discussion with me about what happened but that did not occur. I spent $65 for this fix and came home with deep scratch. I'm happy for the fix but disappointed in the customer and rude way I was not properly allowed to discuss review this issues. I will still come back because overall great company, but I will be more careful when I drop off examining my lenses taking a picture so I can prove what was what when I get there on the return side if there's an issue. I recommend you follow the same procedure in case this happens to you. I'm open for discussions with someone if they would like to talk to me. But a thank you note reply to me for my business really won't compensate me for this new issue.
