For years I have been wanting an eyelid lift. I was literally "tired of looking tired." I came to Dr. Couch, after he was highly recommended, for an upper blepharoplasty, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! One of the best doctors in the nation!! He saved my life. My case was very complicated. I had a massive vien/veins that had been developing for years. It caused me pain, swelling, double vision & my eye socked sinking back in my head. I had 3 surgery to correct this problem. They all were unsuccessful. I lived this way for 40+ years. Pain, swelling. A bulging eye. It would swell shut numerous times throughout the day because of my leaking blood vessels. I had my surgery 6 months ago. A veryyyy intense and difficult surgery. VERY complicated!! I had to have 4 blood transfusion during surgery. He never gave up on me during surgery. Through all the trauma that happened during my surgery I have lived 6 months and counting with NO swelling. NO pain. It is a Devine miracle!! Dr. Couch and his team was my miracle. Thank you!!!!!!!! I still wake up in disbelief. But. It is real!! He and his team fixed me. His knowledge, compassion, and communication, impacted my well-being. He was very professional, and competent and answered all my questions thoroughly. Thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment plans and his advise to me is on going. Very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease and confident in his ability. Dr. Couch and his team have an excellent understanding of the condition and were able to clearly explain everything. They really care about what you're dealing with and want you to live your best life. Always made time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Dr.Couch and his entire team have been amazing! He successfully solved a tear duct issue that has been plaguing me for over 7 years. The incision was minimal, as was the pain following the surgery. Recovery, so far, has gone very well. I would highly recommend Dr.Couch and the Barnes West County surgery center.

Dr.Couch performed my orbital decompression surgery's and they both went amazing. I look like my old self and am very satisfied with the results. He's very knowledgeable and answered all my questions proficiently. I'd recommend him to all my friends!

If you're looking for the pinnacle of bearded surgeons, look no further than Doctor Steven Couch. Glorious in his skill, matched only by the splendor of his beard. The removal of my painful eye was something I anticipated, though it saddened me that I would only have one eye with to espry the breath taking beauty of the beard of Dr Couch, hiding behind his mask. When his awe-inspiring visage appeared to me post eye removal, I felt as if the face of some holy savior must be upon me due to the magnificence of the beard grown upon his face, neatly groomed & well taken care of. Each time I have see Dr Couch and his prodigious beard, I am able to take comfort in his knowledge and ability to care for the needs of the area that was once my eye. And I look forward to my next appointment when I may once again bask in the breath taking glory that is this surgeon & his beard.

I was referred to Dr. Couch by my optometrist to have a small lesion removed from my eyelid. I have no complaints with his performance. However the bill is obscene. $350 for the office visit, he spent about 2 minutes deciding what should be done. We went down the hall where it took him about 10 minutes to do the work. $900 for that. $1250 for a total of 15 minutes of work. I'm told the charge is normal and ordinary and I should just shut up and pay it. This is highway robbery, how do these people sleep at night? Beware of what you'll be charged here and make sure you can't get what you need somewhere else.

Dr. Couch is a great doctor explains everything and up front and not pushy. He done a decompression on my fiance's left eye 4/4/2018 done a great job. We are very pleased and she will be getting the right eye done next month. Thanks Dr. Couch
