Tekwani Vision Center

My experience and the results are amazing. So many previous patients told me how well I could see after, but no one can accurately describe the difference. The colors, lines, depth ,etc are amazing. The staff are so professional and caring. Great job. I only wish I could have had it sooner.

Dr. Selliyan was extremely informative prior to my surgery. No questions were left unanswered. The doctor had a great bedside manner. I am extremely happy with my end result. I would highly recommend Dr. SELLIYAN to anyone. He's one of the good guys!!

Great LASIK experience at Tekwani Vision Center. I chose him because he was listed as a Newsweek Top Doc, and boy were they right. Dr. Navin Tekwani was great and so was the staff!! Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful from the beginning. I highly recommend their practice.

I have been going to this practice for 6 years or so and have been mostly satisfied. One problem however, is the time spent in the exam room. I have waited for anywhere between 30 minutes and over an hour waiting for the doctor. I have also gotten an assembly line feeling at the practice, which reminded me of the old St. Louis Eye Clinic I went to as a kid. There was one other issue when I recently had a problem getting a call back when trying to schedule my cataract surgery, which was mildly annoying.

Appointment date, October 15, 2025 Dr. Selliyan was extremely rude, arrogant, impatient, and acted superior to me. I would start a sentence, and he would cut me off. He cut me off approximately 10 times, never allowing me to finish a sentence. I asked him to allow me to finish speaking several times and he cut me off again. He wasn't interested in listening to me and didn't like my questions. He treated me as an inferior person. When I tried to explain I was learning about the process so I could decide about which lens would be needed and timing for the surgery, together or waiting until the cataract in the right eye matured enough for surgery. He cut me off again telling me we have to plan for both eyes. As I tried to acknowledge and understand, he told me he felt there was going to be a problem with us getting along. I felt attacked and he did not want to treat me unless I just listened to him and didn't ask questions. He was combative and expressed that he felt there would be more contention. So, upset and not understanding why he was being so arrogant and acting supremely with me, I acknowledged he wanted me to leave; he didn't want me as a patient. I was in the office for an hour and ten minutes. I spent with Dr. Selliyan approximately five minutes and he denied me a few minutes to speak so I could develop an understanding to be able to decide on whether I needed to do both eyes or one. I called to speak with the Office Manager and report the incident and asked if Dr. Tekwani would be able to do the surgery. She indicated that she would talk to Dr. Tekwani on Friday, October 17, 2025, and let me know. I never received a response. I want to make others aware of the arrogancy and belittlement of a customer by Dr. Selliyan, and the non-existent follow-up by the Business Manager and the Owner Dr. Tekwani. I would recommend avoiding the Business.

Tekwani Vision Care and Dr. Selliyan are amazing. The entire staff is wonderful and caring and the service is top notch. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Now my parents, myself, and my daughter are all patients here!

While I'm sure the medical portion of my mom's eye surgery was done correctly, my poor review is more about the office staff and the attitude of the doctor she saw. The excessive wait time for a scheduled appointment was a full hour for our first visit, and similar for a follow up. There were no apologies. Period. The office staff could not be bothered to make the wait time more palatable, or to offer alternative time slots. When a person is elderly and needing assistance, patience matters. The doctor was distracted, short with words, hurried, impatient, and basically just plain rude to my mom when she asked questions. My advice for everyone at Tekwani Vision is to remember, some older people need "old fashioned" care. A reassuring smile and a caring attitude can go a long way to make the process of eye surgery less scary. In today's world, elderly people are sometimes treated like "throwaways". This was clearly demonstrated by the doctor and staff at Tekwani...They need to do better. One day they will be old too...

Tekwani Vision Center is a very professional organization with a pleasant, knowledgeable staff that answered every question I had about cataract surgery. They did a great job preparing me for Dr Selliyan to correct my vision. I am very pleased with the whole experience.
