Walmart Vision & Glasses

If I could rate this location zero stars, I would. On both visits, the staff who were supposed to assist customers were seated and did not approach us--we had to go to them for help. During our first visit, one associate dismissed us loudly because we didn't have a written prescription. While policy is policy, the way it was handled was unnecessarily rude. When we returned on 11/07/2025 with the prescription, the staff member asked if we had an appointment. After explaining we were only purchasing contacts, she told us to wait for someone to be available but made no effort to assist while remaining seated. I've visited many Walmart Vision Centers nationwide and have always valued their service, but this location was by far the worst experience I've had. As someone with over 20 years in customer service, I understand the challenges of the job, but professionalism and courtesy should never be optional. Management should address this immediately or ensure employees are placed in roles they actually enjoy.

This gonna be a long one. For the past 2 months I've had my glasses. I've called maybe around 2-3 times letting them know I still can't see & I have headaches, dizziness, and I'm crying because I can't see properly out my glasses. They advise me to come in and recheck my vision. I called them one more time, saying like I really can't see. They told me that I just have to get used to them. I had done that, they told me my prescription is fine. I then gave it another try for 1 more week. Finally Wednesday is around the corner, I came in told them everything is going on and asked for a possible refund since that is what my insurance told me to do when I got off the phone with them. They told me to come in on Thursday, since that will be the time Martina (I think that's what her name is) will be in and talk to me about the refund. I came in Thursday, I met up with Martina. Her staff has advised her on what we spoked about on Wednesday. I've explained to Martina, she had asked them if they tested my glasses. Her staff said no. Martina made her staff check it, they handed her the receipt, she said "this does not look right." So Martina herself, went in and did manually tested my glasses. She came back and had told me that my lenses for my right is on my left and vise versa. She switched them around and BOOM!! Big difference!!! I was about to cry, I can finally see clearly! Martina had apologized & didn't sugarcoat anything! she told me the labs probably put it in incorrectly and had ordered me and also noted in her system for them to remake it! I will be forever grateful for Martina!

at 12:10 pm on april 12th 2025 - because the women that worked there were going on break in 15 mins they wouldn't repair my glasses even AFTER their break. they proceeded to say "u never got them here anyway" when there's proof i did and receipts. i've only ever gone here since i was 8 and now i'm turning 23. after this experience i'm unfortunately over being mistreated and will go someplace better. if you want to be treated like an equal go somewhere else(:

Lea was VERY rude to me. I was talking about my coverage and she corrected me which I understand. After that, she spelled my name wrong trying to tell me "thats the only thing (profile) I have" but if she wasn't in such a rush and think she knows it all and let me talk maybe she could've spelled correctly the first time. Her associate sitting next her let her talk to me in a tone and I know she also picked up on it.

A fantastic experience with the doctor and staff. I highly recommend them despite reviews. I'm extremely picky so trust me when I give a 5 star review, it was well earned. The doctor didn't rush like typical exams where they give you the option 1 or option 2 so fast you can't focus. He was patient, thorough, took his time and listened. That's important when you need glasses to navigate through life. I will definitely remain a customer.

Should have called before driving 40 miles. Their policy won't allow them to repair glasses unless you purchased them there. Was on vacation and my lens fell out, so I've been to other Walmart eye glasses and they fixed them right up. This store in St Roberts Missouri said that they could not repair them if the lens fell out while I was driving and caused a wreck that would be liable. Again they could have fixed them if I bought them from them but since I didn't buy them from there they couldn't fix them. So tell me what's the difference? Learn the lesson next time I'll call before I drive that far.

Today I received a voicemail from Amber at the vision center saying my appointment was at 3/3:20/3:40 (as previously scheduled) but specified NO DAY! Tried calling them to figure out if this was true as we had taken off of work in advance for an appointment scheduled A MONTH in advance and got no answer. Decided to take off today to go down there because we know how hard it is to get another appointment scheduled. We were fine with the appointment being for tomorrow just wanted to make sure, but the rudeness was completely unnecessary when nothing but kindness was shown from the beginning. Amber was extremely rude when confirming the appointment for tomorrow. Stating "i said the day in the voicemail!" my husband played the voicemail which had no day specified. "I said it at the beginning" played voicemail again.. "well I said it at the end!" PLAYED IT A THIRD TIME! "Well does your wife wanna cancel her appointment!" Being a customer service representative myself I'm extremely saddened and disappointed.

I've been going there since they opened,never had a bad experience. Doc and his staff are always friendly. Always get courtesy calls before my appointments as a reminder. Best place to go in my opinion.
