Illegal practices withholding medical charts from patients trying to transfer to other practices. I was told the doctor doesn't talk to anybody when I asked to speak with them instead of the front office staff Amy.

I was at a neighboring business and needed to park my wheelchair van but someone had an unplacarded red minivan in the only marked space. On top of that, it was over the diagonal lines ...and this is in a corner space so impacts the perpendicular adjoined spot since covering some of its area. Anyway, I had to keep my appointment so risked parking in that perpendicular spot since at least my ramp would hit the diagonal lines and no one would park where the ramp had to deploy. During my appointment someone was kind enough to look out just in case the owner of the red van would return as I was very worried they'd hit the back of my van when pulling our and these are difficult to acquire, let alone repair if damaged on ramp side especially. Given there was no movement, I presumed must be a worker or patient so was going to drop a note to the office about the illegally and rudeness of an unplacarded vehicle taking the only space for accessibility needs. They let me know they had no patients at the time and mentioned that they'd let the property manager know of the issue. And as the woman helped me back out of their door, she made the comment that it's the only spot in the lot, that the person forgot to put the placard in the window (can't see it to know that unless it's yours) and it was parked that way in case a large vehicle were to park next to it. So clearly, it was her vehicle and is a capable walker who stands through her work day and has no accountability for her actions. I will never go to seek the services of such a business, particularly one in a medical field with such a low regard of those with true access needs.

The behavior and lack of respect for paying customers is completely unacceptable. They withheld medical record from my grandmother and were incredibly rude on the phone. They completely refused to give out her pupillary distance measurements so that she couldn't order classes online. Most doctors withhold this information in hopes of customers buying directly from them. It is very sad to see a medical professional putting sales above taking care of their patients needs.

I had my eye examine in Hermann but Amy helped me pick out glasses because I really need petite sizes. She looked up different colors and ordered two pair in and sent them to Hermann for me to try. They really went out of their way to help.

In 3 years I have not had my prescription corrected after being given the wrong one every year. Instead they just want me to try different brands of contacts. It's not the contact lens, it's the prescription. The contacts I was just given were around $30 a box elsewhere but somehow $65 a box here.. I am now stuck with 6 months of the wrong prescription AGAIN and had to pay much more than the worth. The doctor told me that my old prescription was "Not performing." Then they gave me the same prescription. The one pair of glasses I had picked out was given to me with one lens sticking half out. They tightened the frame but refused to do anything else because "The lens is too thick.". So then let me pick out a different frame?.. For the time it takes to drive to this location on top of everything else, not worth it to come here. Poor communication, no compensations, takes too much time, and costs too much. Also who has one box of contacts come on time and one on backorder for a month? I was told they use the same pricing as 1-800-CONTACTS. Well, you're not 1-800-CONTACTS. They cost too much on top of having to pay out of pocket for the exam. So really this places costs more. Maybe that's where they fill the prescriptions. Can't understand why else it takes so long and costs so much.

The staff is always super friendly and kind. My boys and I love going to this place. Amy always gets us in together because she knows how far we drive. Very helpful!!
