Was not a good experience, which is unfortunate because the staff was very kind. The appointment was about ten minutes total, and I pretty much had to tell them how to go about it. First off, there was no eye numbing drops put on my eyes before their pressure was taken (not enjoyable). I was then taken to get pictures done without getting my eyes dilated and had to remind her about it. Even then, she put the numbing drops and the dilating drops in at the same time then didn't wait for my eyes to actually dilate before taking the pictures. The Dr. came in and said a few sentences, and I was done. I was graceful with them because they were short staffed, but it just didn't feel like there was a lot of care involved.

My experience here was a good one. I came in terrified that I may lose sight in my left eye due to a retinal detachment. They examined me diagnosed the problem and with corrective surgery took care of it. I am now only a few days out of surgery but I can see through my left eye. I am very thankful for the efforts of their team. They made me feel comfortable in a very stressful situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Marc Comaratta and his staff, they are extremely knowledgeable super friendly good people. I feel very fortunate that we have a specialist like this In our area, five stars all the way.Thanks again!

During my eye surgery, Dr Reddick noticed my retina was tearing. He laser fixed it. You can feel assured he's the right guy to fix it right

This is a father & son retina specialist office. I took my adult son for a consult to repair holes in his retina. He had one eye repaired by a retina specialist at the Billings Clinic. There were complications that caused some temporary vision loss that has lasted for 4 months. That Dr has since been let go by the clinic. This practice was the next closest & came highly recommended. Dr. Comaratta Jr was knowledgeable & took the time to answer all our questions. He performed the procedure that day so we didn't have to make the 3 1/2 hour trip again. The nurses & office staff are super friendly. Everyone was extremely helpful with answers & explanations. I'm so glad they told my son to bring a driver as he wasn't able to drive himself home. They exceeded our expectations & we highly recommend them.

Not recommended. If you have the time and means to get to another doctor elsewhere, do so. This guy came into the room and shoved a metal rod into my dads eye without explanation or direction. He charged $500 to tell my dad he was safe to drive somewhere else for surgery. Absolutely no care about his patients, only cares about his paycheck.

Thorough exam by the doctor. Beware the very steep rates you will be billed. Staff was indifferent as to whether we would be repeat patients. Likely cheaper to take time off work and drive 100+ miles, esp. if our business isn't valuable. Good doctors, gouging rates.

I saw Dr Piwonka. They ran tests and said he couldn't find anything wrong. I am 95% blind in my left eye. He couldn't tell me why or what my next steps are. Told me to go back to my primary Dr.

Only positive things to say about the doctor and staff. Very polite, accommodating, and professional. The best retina specialist I've seen.
