This place is a joke. Have called multiple times to check my appointment I stupidly made when I was in the store one day. Every time I call they answer and say there to busy to and to call back. Get better staff, better management and take care of your customers.

I forgot my contact lenses at home and was visiting Montana for vacation. I was in a bit of a panic as I can't drive without them and a stigmatism makes my vision blurry when trying to see far distances. I called several optical businesses who said they couldn't help even with my prescription in hand. I walked into Walmart Optical as a last ditch effort and Carla helped me right away. They didn't have my exact brand in stock, but she and the optometrist dug through all their trial boxes and found something comparable to get me through the week. Thank you, Carla! She saved my vacation.

The optometrist is outstanding! He took a detailed history and used technology beyond the normal exam to determine that one of my eyes is developing a cataract. All of this for a very reasonable price!

I have gone to the Walmart Vision Center three times for Eye Exams, and to purchase glasses, and have had really positive experiences every time. The doctor (I am blanking on his name) is knowledgeable and personable. All the staff has always been kind and helpful. They only take insurance (or at least the one I have) for the appointment and not the glasses, but I still pay less out of pocket than I would buying glasses from an independent practice.

I honestly wouldn't give a half a star. Most of the staff except one is rude. If I could remember the gals name who was great I would. The doctor ripped my nose ring out while moving his machine from my face and laughed about it. Put me in a set of contacts then told me that I would also need a set of cheaters to read a book or my phone. The contracts irritate my eyes so bad that I can't use them. I asked if I could bring in a pair of frames that I just got and have lenses replaced and they said yes. Then I got some song and dance about my insurance wouldn't cover it. So I'm still using lenses that are an old prescription. They make me sick, might as well use a cane or seeing eye dog. It has been less than 6 months and my vision has gotten extremely worse due to the contracts. Don't matter if you are paying out of pocket, have Medicaid, or have great eye insurance when you leave the store you feel violated!

I go there on a regular because of a neological issue. The doctor is nice , I get my eyes checked and he sends his report to my neurologist. Always had great experiences till today when I was just trying to make an appointment. The manager who was working was so rude. Didn't even say hello. I asked to make an appointment in the afternoon or a weekend and when there were available times she told me one day and I asked if she had any other days open. She told me I needed to call when I can figure it out. Called them later and spoke to a lady named Catherine who was so nice. I hope I never have to deal with that manager ever again.
