Dr. Alonzo office was one of the nicest places I have been to, everything was nice and clean, very professional. Everything went smooth and quickly. I was very impressed, treated very well , listened to and told what was happening at all times. I would give them an A+ rating.

Went to Dr Alonzo today with a swollen eyelid and pain associated with it. Into the room came one of the best Drs I have ever met. Instantly I was put at ease knowing I was in the hands of a gifted Dr. After a very thorough exam I was told the reason for my swelling. Shingles !!!!!!!! Ahhhhh! Medication was written and I was completely put at ease that catching it so quickly this 10 day supply of medication may just do the trick. The residents of Ravalli are blessed to have both Dr Alonzo and Dr Calderwood for our healthcare providers when it concerns eyes. Dr Alonzo made certain to telling me numerous times if anything appeared worse or if I had any concerns to contact him immediately. What an absolute gem of a Dr.

What a gem the Bitterrrot has! Dr Alonzo is a calm, quiet, kind doctor who has you at easy immediately. Even though you know he has heard the same questions from hundreds of patients, his responses are complete and respectful. His team from the front desk in his office to his assistants that you see prior to him coming in the room are all exceptional. A follow up call in the evening from Dr. ALONZO was very much appreciated. At the surgery center your care will continue to be matched by a caring nursing staff and anesthesiology team. The surgery scheduling gal who calls you is totally amazing. A sense of humor, concern, and professionalism that puts you at easy to the point I went from total terror about having cataract surgery to looking forward to having the 2nd eye done. I worked in the medical field for years and this is how all medical offices should operate. I could go on about other details that I noticed and appreciated. Now for the results of the surgery because I know you are wondering. After your surgery seriously give yourself a break. Don't read or watch TV. Listen to books on tape or sleep. Just give your body time to chill. Set your alarm to remind you to put the drops in at the appropriate times. If it seems bright inside your house, put those stylish glasses they give you on. It will really help. Day 2. I was already seeing great improvement and it just continued. All of a sudden I became excited to have surgery on the other eye!!!!!! 2nd eye was done yesterday.
