Optometrist seemed like she just wanted to get me in and out without really doing anything. Got my new glasses and the vision was no better than it was before. Plus they were making me nausus. Went back this time i explained everything and she made slight changes to the perscription. Even tested it before sending me off. I told her i still couldnt see good. Anyways long story short the new perscription fixed the making me nausus part but my vision is no better than it was went i went in. Im tired of wasting my time on this optometrist only to get no help in improving my vision. She charges $105 for 10 mins of exam if even that, only to not do anything for you. I will be going else where from now on.

I have been going to the vision center for several years. Recently, I had cataract surgery at Glacier Eye Clinic. The surgery was fine, but I chose to go back to Dr. Podraza for my new prescription. While Glacier is ok, they have so many dr's that they don't have the time to make you feel like a person and not a number. Dr Podraza is knowledgeable, personable, and will answer any questions you have without patronizing. Shawn and the rest of the crew are friendly, and helpful, and my glasses are always correct. I also like the fact that they are the only game in town that will fill a prescription from another optometrist.

I went to see the optometrist. She did the exam for glasses, and contacts. She lowered my prescription. She gave me my contacts, and I couldn't see. She said oh just try it for a while, so your eyes will adjust. I did for five days of not being able to see well. Plus one of the contacts was rubbing the top of my eyes. I called back, I still can't see. I came back in again to sit in her examing chair. She changed it a little. I showed her my old prescription which was higher. She ignored me. Sent me off again. I suffered again for four days. My glasses was ordered with the wrong prescription. I called again saying I can't see. She wanted me to try to wear my glasses. I said no. I ended up getting a refund for my glasses. I did however get a staff member to order my old contacts, with my old prescription so I can see. The staff are amazing, and listen. Great people. I've never had this problem ever.

Everyone was fantastic (including the optometrist). They really went above and beyond to find out what my insurance would cover- to the extent of calling the customer service line for my insurance. Everyone was super helpful and made sure that I understood everything I needed to in order to make an informed decision. I'd recommend the team at the Walmart Vision Center in Kalispell to anyone who needed to get glasses or contacts.

Husband had his eye exam, ordered a pair of daily glasses & a pair of work glasses. Paid in full for both. The daily glasses showed up but the work pair has never arrived, the vision center said they would call us & let us know why the work pair wasnt sent & never have heard from them. We will never use Walmart Vision Center again.
