I have worn glasses/contacts for 30 years. I know the drill. Dr. Samuelson is amazing, but Midwest Eye Care has doubled the cost of an exam and has added additional, unnecessary steps to basic eye care. And now they won't release my contact prescription even though my DOCTOR said I'm all good. I don't need a fitting, but they don't care, they just want the extra money for the "service." Very disappointing.

I'm was a long time customer if Midwest an I had all kinds of good things here done for me! But they have changed there business practice! See they don't tell you upfront that you're insurance doesn't over both the exam an frames an lenses now I have to wait some more to get appointment an I don't know how long that's goung to take an I have to go to another shop when they can provide both services now that's not good business; so now I have to come here an tell the public that this needs to be changed for everyone not just me everyone !

Have gone her for over 5 years but ownership has changed. Today I went for a procedure, they gave me a blank form to sign - no physician, no procedure, no date, nothing! Seriously, what do they consider informed consent? Plus the worse HIPPA violation ever! Instead of using a clipboard to hold the worthless form, they used a patient roster notebook! I could see a whole page of patient names dating back 2 months! This office is in serious need of retraining!

The Doctors have always been good, however one of the receptionists was inexcusably rude to my elderly father. This is sufficient reason for me to switch my entire family to a different eye care facility.
