America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

America's Best employees provided excellent service to the students I took to their business this month. They helped them find frames that looked good and fit their faces well and also shared their prescriptions with us so they would have them in case they needed to go to another office for appointments. Of course, they plan to continue to receive eye care here. They provided prompt communication of when the glasses were in and encouraged the students to gradually get used to wearing them. Thank you America's Best for helping our students.

Their 2 for $89 and exam escalates quickly with basic add ons, which are overpriced. For bluelight and anti reflection the out the door price will be 271$ with the -69$ for free eye exam reduction. Zinni allows for all the whistles (auto-tint, anti-reflective, for 110 and a 20$ warranty) all for less than one set. Also waited 30 minutes past appointment time to be seen. Pairs are shipped separately even if identical, and they are unable to track the orders to provide anticipated delivery date if its delayed.

I went to this location after being recommended here by my family. I came to simply have my contact prescription updated. I was given trials after being told my prescription didn't change and immediately knew they were not right. We scheduled a follow-up to give me time to try out the trials. They gave me the wrong contacts and only gave me one box so I couldn't try them for more than one day. I returned for my follow-up and informed the doctor that I could not tolerate the trials I was given due to everything being blurry. She informed me they ordered the wrong contacts and had me try on a new pair. Before I was able to put them in she walked away telling me to go check out once they are in. I could tell the trials she gave me didn't work either. I went up to the front staff and informed him that I still can't see clearly with the new trials I was given. He asked me about my medical history in front of the whole waiting room and went to inform the doctor that the contacts didn't work. I heard the doctor whispering to the employee saying "I don't know what to do for her because she SHOULD be able to see so I don't know how to help her". Instead of the doctor taking me back and reassessing the trials I was given, the employee came out and said he didn't know how to move forward with the appointment. He even started serving other patients while I sat there wondering if I did something wrong to deserve this treatment. I decided to try the other location in Lincoln and they were AMAZING! They got me the right prescription and apologized for my previous experience. Carla Erickson, the doctor at this location, is very inconsiderate and I wouldn't recommend anyone come to this location. GO TO THE OTHER LOCATION IN LINCOLN! If you are going to talk about your patient negatively maybe learn to shut the door next time.

I stopped in to update my eyeglasses, they were very helpful and efficient. Natalie walked me through the initial process and helped me pick out frames that I liked. Went to get new Rx. Spent 2 hours there but we got everything taken care of. They listened to me when I said my old script was off when I got them. They checked things and took care of the problem and got me new glasses. Was very happy with the visit

Stopped in to purchase a new pair of glasses and Hailey was great to work with. She worked up several different options to determine the better price for me. She explained everything clearly and the price was hundreds of dollars cheaper than where I had previously bought glasses. Highly recommend Americas Best.

Natalie was so helpful to both my husband and myself. She helped us pick the perfect glasses and made sure we got the best deals possible.

The receptionist was NOT a people person at all and was very short. She rushed my daughter and me away from the counter and didn't want to talk. No one explained that we would have to see a remote eye doctor because I would have rescheduled if I had I known. This was my daughter's first eye appointment since moving to Lincoln, so seeing a doctor in person would have been appreciated. The system was not working, and it took over an hour to even connect to whomever the online doctor was. If it wasn't for Tech Merdie, we would have left. She helped and explained everything along the way the best she could, so these 2 stars are for her, but she deserves more. Unfortunately, giving her more stars means giving this location more stars. No one else in the business was people friendly at all today.
