Yea he could have a better bedside manner. But he helped me figure out why I had flashing in my eye and got it to stop w/o need for surgery. I'd say if you have questions or concerns regarding something, to give him a call to clarify. Edit: I had a severe allergic reaction to the vegetable dye. They inject into your arm to view the inner workings of your eye. They had no protocol for severe allergic reactions. A nurse gave me a Benadryl, but they seem to be panicking then they sent me home. I called and spoke to my Allergy doctor And they were surprised that they just sent me home. They said keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, you need to go to the ER. I had to get a second check up visit from Dr. Wood and I didn't feel like the second visit was as thorough when they didn't do the vegetable dye because of my allergic reaction the last time. My vision is just not the same and I was very concerned that it may not ever be the same. They decided I didn't need any additional appointments in the future. My vision in my left eye still makes things look like a fun house mirror. :(

My wife has been seeing Dr. Wood for a little while to fix some stuff on her eyes. Then she had a heart attack and had to cancel her appointments or reschedule due to other doctors appointments with her heart. Dr. Woods sent a letter stating that He had canceled her due to Rescheduling appointments. We're trying to explain this to the doctors office. They didn't care, now we have to go to Omaha, to find a doctor there. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. Bedside manner of a dead fish. Dr. Wood rushes in procedure and then Rushes is out.

My mother has macular degeneration and requires shots in her eyes every 5-6 weeks to retain what little vision she has. She has been going to this practice for 14 years, she started with Dr. Wood's father in 2007. My mother was in to see Dr. Wood on April 18th, a week later she received a certified letter from him stating of which she could not read, he would no longer be caring for her. No explanation, nothing. I have called twice and sent a letter two weeks ago and have not received a reply. It is appalling this doctor would fire my sweet 83-year-old mother who has been a patient for 14 years without incident. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. Awful, just awful.
