Nebraska Eye Institute

Over the last ten years or so I only went to eye glass places that did exams too, i.e. America's Best, etc...This time, at 72 years old, I really wanted to go for a more complete examination and picked Nebraska Eye Institute. Things couldn't be better! I was seen by Dr. Kelsey Daberkow who totally impressed me. She explained the different procedures performed and gave me a complete explanation of the results and overall condition of my eyes, thank you. But, it doesn't stop there, the front office gets an A+ too, especially Linda! Had insurance issues which they took on for me and had things resolved in days! Communication was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an eye examination with explanations at a reasonable price. Great job!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this practice! Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind, and Dr. Daberkow and the staff are so knowledgeable. If anyone is considering coming here, do it!

Can not say enough good things about this facility. Due to past horrible experiences with the medical profession, I know I am a difficult patient. For my cataract surgery they patiently answered my 10,000 questions (slight exaggeration only), professional responses to my challenges and issues. Kind. Sympathetic. Personable. Nurse Cari R.N. should have been wearing a halo. Have heard many cataract surgery centers make the patient feel like they are a cog in an assembly line. NOT here!

Love the staff and care I receive at Nebraska Eye Institute. They always help me maximize my insurance benefits so I get glasses and contacts every year. I even receive personal attention selecting new frames. I appreciate the patience when trying on every pair. They even help get outside of my comfort zone when deciding on a frame. Will always be a patient of Dr. Reinks and the crew.

I have "challenging" eyes and Dr. Rienks takes the time to get the best results regarding my contacts and glasses. He cares about how well I'm seeing and my comfort. He always makes sure to tell me if I have any questions or concerns to let him know! He doesn't want me to uncomfortable! I really appreciate him and his excellent staff!

Absolute perfect experience at the Nebraska Eye Institute. From the scheduling/office manager Linda to the eye doctor Dr. Rienks, every interaction is personalized and of utmost care and professionalism. I dread the eye doctor, but with their advanced technology and instruments, it could not be easier to receive comprehensive eye care. Dr. Rienks was very informative, thorough, and personable. He took the time to go over all of the exam evaluations, and provided an excellent anatomy lesson in optometry to explain my specific eyes. Absolutely loved my experience at Nebraska Eye Institute and would 1000% recommend them to anyone.

I had been there for vision exams and today I went to find new frames. Not only do they have a pretty good selection; I was also able to find something edgy and unique. They have something for every taste. The staff was extremely helpful as well and very receptive to your level of "help wanted". I really like shopping alone until I have narrowed down my choices and then they were so helpful with choosing my final frame, one that I had missed completely on my own before and it turns out I loved it more than the ones I had picked myself. Great experience. I also recommend Dr. Steger with little children. Both my toddlers really like him and he's very knowledgeable. They have all cutting edge technology for your eyes in there.
