I had my LASIK eye surgery today with Dr. Argo, and the experience was truly 100 out of 100. From start to finish, everything was excellent.
Dr. Argo and his entire team, including the staff who assisted me before entering the surgery room, were professional, kind, and very reassuring. They explained every step clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind.
The procedure was quick, smooth, and painless. I am already recovering my vision, and the improvement is incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Argo and his team to anyone considering LASIK. You are in excellent hands.
I had Lasik at Sutton Linder and Sutton and I was BLOWN away at the level of service. Everyone I interacted with was amazing. The staff was so kind and informative. They made sure I was comfortable through the entire process, from the consult all the way through the procedure and follow-up.
I have already recommended them to several friends who are also interested in Lasik.
Very very pleased with Dr. Rixen and the results that I have gotten. I had the ICL procedure and beginning to end it has been smooth and easy. Wonderful office and surgical staff! Jeenie the preop RN was absolutely wonderful. She was very detailed and it was easy to be relaxed pre procedure. The surgical procedure was flawless and painless with light sedation with kind and excellent surgical staff. Post op RN (sorry I forgot your name thanks to the sedation) was awesome and attentive. Three days post op very pleased with results thus far! Thank you Dr. Rixen and team for putting in the dedication and time to preform life changing procedures for us!
Dr. Greg Suttons staff made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole cataract surgeries. I had both eyes done 1 week apart and wished I had done this years ago. My vision is now wonderful. Dr. Greg is a fine and caring surgeon. Highly recommend.
Holy WOW!! These guys are incredible and incredible doesn't even do them justice. What an amazing experience. Rochelle, Cassie, dr Rixen and all of the staff- THANK YOU! Walked me thru every step. Explained everything to a T. Zero pressure. Only thing I'm upset about is why I didn't do this decades ago. If I would have known how easy it was I would have. Procedure lasted maybe 1-2 minutes per eye. No needles. Didn't feel a thing. I'm floored how easy it was. Modern day miracle. Bless this office and their crew. I never leave reviews but these guys deserve top kudos! Thank you for everything!! 105 Stars out of 5.
I'm pretty displeased with my overall experience at Sutton. Everything was okay up until the procedure and the following days.
I had a pretty complex lasik surgery done, I needed quite a bit of correction. I was very uncomfortable in the operating room. They gave me Valium to calm me down prior to the procedure, but only about 10 minutes prior, so I don't think it kicked in till after. In the operating room I was not held in place by anything, and all I was given were numbing drops on the eyes. I could feel nearly everything that was being done, it certainly wasn't painless. I did both eyes. The initial cut and the pressure from the lasers were as described. But following the laser portion, Dr. Rixen had to manually flatten out the flap. Honestly, I'm not certain that's exactly what he was doing, but I could see and feel the whole thing, so that's what it felt like. I was consistently told to lay still and focus on a flashing green light. It was very difficult for me in the moment to focus on the green light. My eyes were constantly burning and watering, my nose and mouth were reacting, my whole body was shaking, and I was trying to take slow, deep breaths. Plus, it's a flashing light. It's hard to focus on something that's constantly going away.
Throughout the precedure, I was never given reassurance, but I was constantly told that I needed to keep my eyes more still. I'm usually pretty good with pain and can stay focused, but that was hard for me. Maybe that's my own fault. There was tape on my eyelashes as well. After each eye was done, the tape was ripped off rather uncomfortably. A minor detail, I know, but they didn't seem to care how comfortable I was.
Finally, I was told to sit up. My eyes were on fire and I could barely open them. I heard nothing from the doctor, but the nurse was standing in front of me, saying nothing. Eventually I asked "did it work?" And she said "yep" and asked me to follow her. Again, I was in so much pain I could barely open my eyes, but I followed her to the waiting room where I was greeted by a bunch of other people waiting... not exactly a great look. I was immediately discharged and told to return in 3 hours.
For the next three hours once I was driven home, I was in a large amount of pain. I couldn't even lay down. It felt like somebody dumped poison in my eyes. I couldn't even open them. I has to constantly take deep breaths just to stay calm.
Long story short, things slowly got better.
In the following days, my vision slowly returned. However, I was given steroid eye drops to take for one week following surgery. I ran out by day 3. I called to get more. I was told "there's probably still some in the bottle, keep trying, those drops are expensive, we don't want to order more". I got one more drop out of the bottle an hour later, then ran out completely. I called the next day (today). I was told "okay, we can order some to a pharmacy and it'll be $200". Yes, $200 for less than an ounce of liquid. They said "we'll order some to the pharmacy and they'll call you when it's ready". That was 8 hours ago. No call yet. Without the drops, my eyes are really uncomfortable. This has not been a fun few days.
That's my experience. Based on that, I would not recommend Sutton for your lasik surgery. I'm confident the results will turn out okay (I hope so at least) but my overall experience surrounding the procedure was poor.
Dr Rixen and his team were absolutely amazing! They talked me through every step so there were zero surprises. Hands down 100% recommend!
The staff and Dr. Argo at Sutton are awesome! My whole lasik experience was great from start to finish.
