Not military or veteran friendly. If you are a veteran, retired military member or a dependent and have a "medical condition" and only Tricare for medical insurance you are not welcome. No matter what eye care insurance you may have. They will not inform you about this until you are actually there. When they ask about insurance when your appointment is made or confirmed during your reminder nothing will be said. They just EXPECT you to pay $150 to $200 out of your pocket for the exam. I guess it doesn't matter that you sacrificed to serve your country they do not want you to know that they have this policy until you show up for your appointment so they can embarrass you.

Normally I'm quite happy with the service here, but I must say I'm extremely disappointed with the rude and dismissive attitude which I was treated with over the phone recently. Needless to say I don't plan on returning.
