I had such a great experience at Center for Advanced Eye Care. Dr. Wu and Dr. Vazeen are both incredible doctors. They are knowledgeable, professional, and truly take the time to listen to your concerns. They explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The level of care I received was outstanding. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and want the best outcomes for them. The staff was also friendly and efficient, which made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Center for Advanced Eye Care, especially Dr. Wu and Dr. Vazeen, if you're looking for thorough, compassionate, and high-quality eye care.

I had a great experience at this office. Scheduling was easy, the front desk staff was welcoming, and the exam was thorough. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained my eye health in a way that was easy to understand. I left feeling confident in my care. Hands down one of the best eye doctor visits I've had.

My husband got metal in his eye accidently while fabricating, and after visiting two different emergency rooms, we were finally referred to Dr. Wu. I truly wish we had been referred to him first, it would have saved my husband so much time and pain. Dr. Wu was able to remove the metal from my husband's eye quickly and professionally, and the care we received was excellent. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend Dr. Wu and his team.

I went in to check my vision as the DMV advised I probably needed glasses. I had a great experience, the staff was very professional and friendly. They performed the thermal one touch treatment on me to relieve dry eye symptoms, which felt amazing. I was able to get my prescription for glasses.

Incredible care! I love Dr. Vazeen, MD. He has been my ophthalmologist for more than 20 years. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, understanding and kind. He is board certified in Ophthalmology. Carson City is extremely fortunate to have a physician of his caliber and experience. I trust him implicitly. The staff is very friendly. I am so lucky to have him taking care of my eyes and vision. Thank you, Dr. Vazeen!

Recently took my son here to get his eye looked at after he got elbowed during school basketball. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming and made sure my son was comfortable getting his eye checked for any damages. Will definitely return for any future Eye related issues.

This place is horribly unprofessional. My first appointment, to determine if I qualify for PRK surgery, I showed up early to fill out the paperwork. I then sat in the lobby for over an hour past my scheduled time waiting to be called back. While waiting, I watched as more than one person presented the receptionist an appointment card for that day and was told they did not have an appointment. The receptionist said she could "squeeze them in" and then those people were seen by my doctor BEFORE I WAS. Mind you, I drove 40 minutes from Reno to Carson for this appointment. I took time off work to be present and have my time wasted. However, I accepted their excuses when they told me that was a rare occurrence and continued with the goal of surgery. I scheduled the pre-surgery appointment and my surgery date. Prior to my pre-surgery work up appointment, i was called and informed my doctor had an emergency and would be out of office, but another doctor would see me. They called and confirmed my appointment telling me I'd be seen by another doctor. I showed up on time to a completely empty lobby. I checked in. 45 minutes after my arrival and appointment time, a tech came out and told me that they had to reschedule because the doctor "wasn't comfortable seeing me." When asked why, she said that she had spoken to him and he wasn't okay with completing my appointment. When asked why they called to confirm my appointment with that doctor they didn't mention he wasn't comfortable. She had no answers. When asked why they waited 45 minutes past my appointment time, she also had no answers. I asked them to cancel all future appointment and my surgery. The office manager then called me later and claimed that my appointment was rescheduled because my doctor had an emergency. I told her that I was well aware of his emergency because they called and informed me I would not be seeing him. She then said that the reason this happened was because the other doctor "can't write prescriptions." Which also doesn't make sense because how would he be a licensed doctor then? It appears the staff couldn't even communicate with each other to get their excuses straight. The manager then said it was all her fault and tried to convince me to reschedule. She gave me attitude when I told her that I had ZERO FAITH IN THIS FACILITY since they cannot even complete an appointment on time or maintain any semblance of professionalism. Why on earth would I trust them with my eyesight? I asked the manager if she would take accountability and inform my doctor why he lost a client. She was very vague stating that she was admitting what she'd done. I told her that I did not believe she would actually inform the doctor what had happened and I did not want this to happen to others. She said, "sorry you feel that way," then hung up. Seeing as how most clientele here are elderly individuals, I just pray they have someone advocating for them since this place thinks this behavior is acceptable. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. UNPROFESSIONAL. AWFUL TIME MANAGEMENT. Truly just an overall terrible experience.
