Just moved to the area and was looking for a good eye Dr. Tried ESE care. The staff was AWESOME!! Very friendly, listened, and worked with us on getting our insurance on page and getting us what we wanted. Dr. Cross was AWESOME too! She was patient, actually listened, and explained everything. She also took time to answer my questions. GREAT EXPERIENCE all around. Would definitely recommend them if you need eye care.

Doctor, assistant, and new associate were all nice and keep to the small town professional level of nice. Wish my insurance was as good. Apparently there's only one Doctor in the state that works with United Healthcare. Someone needs to fix that as I was not told until I was in the chair running through tests.

My wife had eye inflammation after leaving her contact lenses in overnight. Called in the morning and they got us in for an appointment a few hours later. The optometrist was super kind and helpful. She even went out of her way to find a pharmacy discount for the prescribed antibiotic to make sure we didn't pay too much out of pocket. Excellent care and service all around

Everything about the business is great, except for them assuming (or is it insisting) that their customers are all now using cell phones and texting. Except for that, of all the optometrists I've been to, this is the best of them all and if it was possible to give a 4.95 rating that's what I would have done.. I just wish I'd become their client many, many years ago.

I had a great experience at Sierra Eye Care for my general eye check-up. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made the entire visit feel comfortable and stress-free. The exam was thorough, everything was explained clearly, and I never felt rushed. It's obvious they truly care about their patients and take the time to do things right. I would definitely recommend Sierra Eye Care to anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent service.

Dr Ruckman did a very thorough exam and identified a dry eye problem that my previous doctor had not found a year earlier (but had been bothering me for a long time). After starting on his suggested treatment, I already feel much better. He presents a final summary where you see the prescription (if any) that you started with, then what the automated machine recommended and finally what you selected based on a pretty detailed process. That was very reassuring. Easy to make an appointment and I will return.

The only negative thing about this place is hooooooowwwwww lllllooooonnnnnggggg it takes for you to get your glasses. They said 5-10 business days but in reality it's 15 BUSINESS DAYS!!!! They called and said it will get here on January 24th 2026 but since it's a Saturday and the shop is closed I won't be able to get them till the 26th. Fingers crossed that they arrive on the 24th so I can get them on the 26th. but other than that The team was amazing! This was my first time doing an eye exam so keeping my eyes open during the exam was quite hard for me I'm not a big fan of things close to my eye but the team was Very helpful and very patient!!! They helped me find the perfect frame for my face!!!! Def recommend this place if they don't mind the wait for your glasses. if I can rate the environment and the employees 1-10.... I'd give it a 100 they went above and beyond! If I can rate the delivery for glasses from 1-10 it be a 0.

I've been a regular customer for years (including my family). They are always helpful and knowledgeable on the information and professional in their actions and procedures. They maintain a friendly and hospitable atmosphere, all around amazing service. If you need glasses and/or have any eye care needs, these are your people!
