I was looking for a new optometrist for my daughter and, after calling multiple places, found Downtown Vision. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for her the same week I called. Everyone from the receptionist to the optometrist was so nice and helpful with my questions. My daughter was given a couple of different brands of contacts to try out for a few days and we didn't feel pressured to make a decision right there which was nice. I've already recommended this office to my coworkers and friends! Very happy with the experience and will continue to visit them!

I have been going to Downtown Vision in Carson City for the past 4 years. I typically see Dr. Cardona, who is amazing but given my schedule I saw Dr. Mather. He was very polite and professional. Explained everything to me and made sure all my concerns and questions were answered. Dr. Katrina Van Patten and her staff are absolutely incredible! Hands down the best experience I've ever had at an optometry office. I am very uncomfortable when people get near my eyes usually but Katrina and her staff, specifically Rosy, took such great care of me and made sure to be very gentle. I never felt rushed while choosing the clearest image or while choosing my frames. Rosy also helped by picking frames that suited my facial structure and sure enough the first pair was a perfect match. I was given information on all the options for lenses and I've been seeing better than ever before! I highly recommend going here for all your optometry needs!
