Richens Eye Center

I had my first visit with Richens Eye center recently and I am so happy I chose this place. The staff were all exceptional! I really liked Dr. Albernaz. He was very personable, efficient and answered all of my questions. Since I am new to the area, it was hard to decide on a new eye doctor. I can't tell you how pleased I am! My husband will be scheduling with his an office soon.

We go to Richens eye center normally is St. George for many years for Elliott richens. Today was our first visit there in Mesquite. It was the worst experience we have ever had and hope to ever have. Taylor the office manager is very very rude. We made the apt. I confirmed everything with the person who made the apt about my insurance and what was expected. However, when we arrive Taylor informs us our insurance will not cover some things I was told they would cover when I made the apt. I tried to tell Taylor this and instead she said they don't in ow who made my apt when in fact they do. We all know when booking apts the person booking the apts bar is on it. Looked to us like she was erasing it because I'm positive it was her! She hung up on me when I was trying to tell her some more info and was very short and rude. To say the least we will not be back to this office. We have been going to Richens offices since my daughter was 3yrs old she is 16 now. I have never been so disappointed in this office because now we have to wait another month and a half for an injury we were told they would look at and would be covered. This office is the biggest inconvenience you could ever go to and it's because of people like the office manager Taylor who is short and rude! It seems she doesn't like dealing with people or problems she creates.

Dr. Will Wagner is a skilled ophthalmologist and surgeon. He successfully treated me for shingles in my eye, which had become quite serious because no one else had been able to diagnose it. He recently performed cataract surgery on both eyes, and I am extremely happy with the results! He is personable and has a great sense of humor! His office staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Wagner and his staff for excellent care.

Not my first time at Richen's Eye Center, but this was my first visit with Dr. Albernaz after Dr. Jones' retirement. Very happy with my appointment with D Albernaz. I highly recommend Richen's, all the staff will take great care of you.

Taylor & Ashley are tops at office stuff and keeping the mood in there super-friendly, courteous and they are sooo-Knowledgeable. Camron is a wonderful tech and Luca is the Captain of the whole wonderful experience that you are going to Enjoy, just like my wife and I did

I was very satisfied with Dr. Wagner and his staff, they are very professional and thorough. I saw Dr. Wagner to confirm some issues with my eyes, he not only confirmed the previous diagnosis, but his determinations are more serious than the previous diagnosis . I believe his observations to be more objective/precise and more likely applicable to my current vision issues! I would especially recommend seeing Dr. Wagner if you have vision issues and you are not certain that your current diagnosis and treatment are personally appropriate for you! (A second opinion never hurts). I have also heard good compliments concerning standard optical testing and most importantly explanations in layman's terms in response to your questions!

Richens Eye Center in Mesquite is great! My husband and I have been going there since we moved here two years ago. I recently had cataract surgery In St. George and my follow up was in Mesquite. Dr. Wagner is Wonderful and made the experience very pleasant. We especially like Ashley, the ophthalmologist in Mesquite. She is so easy to work with and very Professional. The whole staff in Mesquite is really great. We highly recommend them!

My husband and I were both seen by Dr. Wagner and his staff and were beyond impressed. The office was hopping with at least 6 possible 8 people being seen or waiting and yet the environment was well controlled and each person was attended to. The young men in the back were outstanding. They answered ALL of our questions and were so very nice. Having a laugh together helps settle nerves.. Seeing a new doctor is not always a great experience and often comes with a great dealing of interpretation. This feeling quickly vanished once we met Dr. Wagner. He is welcoming, takes his time listen and explaining each step in the process as well as why it is important. He sat with us and just had an easy conversation about much need surgical intervention and helped us feel comfortable with moving forward with them. Dr. Wagner is not only an excellent doctor, he is kind soul. We are thankful to have him and his staff here in Mesquite.
