Chin Hee Choi OD

Dr. Choi and her staffs are fast and efficient! I was in and out in about 15-20min. Dr. Choi took the time to make sure I was happy with my contact prescription and answered any questions I had. Prior to Dr. Choi, I was going to ClearVision but each time I went in I had a different doctor and the staff was not as welcoming or helpful.

First time ever seeing an Optometrist and the staff is excellent and Dr. Choi was clearly informative about my needs. Turning 70 in September I felt it was time. Hoot hoot to this team . Mahalo!!

My wife and I have been using this facility since it opened here in Pahrump. Dr Choi is our eye doctor and has always treated us quickly, friendly, and very professionally. Her staff is amazing. They make the short wait period fly right by even quicker. In the past 20 years or so, I don't believe I have ever waited more than ten minutes to be taken back.

I saw Dr. Choi when I finally gave up the over the counter readers. I had never been to an eye doctor before and was a bit nervous as I wasnt sure what to expext. Dr. Choi was fantastic. She answered all my questions and took the time to make sure i had all the information I needed to get my fist pair of glasses. I just recently went back to get another prescription, as its been a year, and again she was great. Answered my new questions and took her time to help me explore my options with new glasses and possibly contacts. She is a great Dr. and will continue to give her and my families business as I feel she really cares about us. Keep up the awesome job. New appt and another great time at the eye Dr.'s as always took great care to make sure my glasses prescription was correct. Thanks Dr. Choi again.

Enjoy Dr Choi very much and for me, she's right on w her contacts. That is the best part when contacts work well. Glasses on the other hand have been a problem.... unnecessary prescription changes that do not need to b done. Uses very strong eye drop meds that are not advisable by all eye care specialists... Lastly, It is not advisable for a provider to practice ageism w pts..... inappropriate and considered discrimination. Very much do appreciate her specialty, but care is needed to make sure all is good w treatment.

Dr. Choi is always very nice and precise. The front desk/staff on the other hand... not so much. I DO NOT recommend going here. We've tried a handful of times because of the convenience, but it has been a HUGE letdown every time. First off, my husband had an eye appointment last year for contacts and they placed the order for him and said they'd call him when they arrived within a week or so. After a week and a half, my husband called for a status update and they said it would be another week or so (for whatever reason I can't remember). After another two weeks he called back and lo-and-behold, they never even placed the freaking order to begin with!!! So he had to wait a total of close to two months to receive his contacts (running on a really old and crusty pair in the meantime mind you). Then, we thought we'd give them another try this year. We showed up first thing for a walk-in appt. (which is advertised on their door, but I'm not sure if it is advertised anywhere else). We were very rudely told that there were no appointments for the day. So we asked, "Ok then, can we schedule an appointment for another day?" Again, rudely, we were told that they were still getting their computers and systems up and running for the day because they just opened (10 min. ago) and we would have to wait around 15-20 minutes to schedule an appointment. We left obviously. I was determined to never return, but my husband was a few months shy of his insurance allowing another visit/contacts etc. and he really needed a new supply so he wanted to find somewhere that took Care Credit so he could get them ASAP. He called this office and asked them SPECIFICALLY if they took Care Credit before booking because that was a priority. They said YES. He booked an appt. for two weeks out. He showed up to the SCHEDULED appt. and had to wait a full hour just to be seen. When he was finally seen and ready to check out, they informed him that to DO NOT accept Care Credit and now we have to pay out of pocket. They are so unorganized, rude, and unaccommodating. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you find somewhere else for an optometrist appt. The vision center however is fabulous. No issues on that side! Unfortunately for Dr. Choi (who is very professional) she needs a new staff that cares just as much her.

I have been going the last 3 years. Very disappointed in my service today, 9 May. The whole appointment was rushed. Dr Tran seemed irritated. Maybe she was having a bad day.
