This is a really great optometry office. I have been seeing Dr. Reed for years for eye exams, and she is wonderful. She really listens to my concerns and provides great explanations. She is always very cheerful and upbeat. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The office is located in a nice area in South Reno with ample parking. There is also a wide selection of eyewear with fashionable brands if needed.

Professional, kind, and thorough! I recently had my first eye exam with Dr. Hendrickson and the entire experience was great. Doctor was on time and the exam did not feel rushed at all. I felt listened to and all of my questions were answered. The optometrist that assisted me with choosing frames was incredibly kind and let me take my time and knew the frames so well! 100% would recommend this practice.

Everyone on staff is top-notch. From the receptionist to the optometric technician to my doctor, Dr. Hendrickson. They make the whole experience enjoyable. She does an outstanding job ensuring I receive great care and answers all my questions and concerns and expounding into other areas. Eye can't be any happier

I've been seeing Dr Reed for over ten years, she herself is absolutely amazing and I'm sad that I won't be returning to this practice because I've referred so many people to her/the practice. I was ill in 2024 and couldn't make my appointment, literally bedridden and was sleeping all day. I've never once missed an appointment. They told me I had to pay $50 in cancellation fees and I disputed it and while they looked into it they never got back to me so I assumed it was taken care of. Fast forward to 2026, I checked in and was in the pre screening room and they stopped in the middle of it and forced me to pay the $50, I was already being seen by the doctor??? And I explained it to them but the front desk girls (all of them) were so rude and nasty about it. Not my fault you didn't see it at check in or explain anything to me. The girl with long nails up at reception was then super bratty and rude to me when I checked out and spoke down to me the whole time, refused to give me a copy of my prescription until I badgered her. This is so disappointing and honestly it ruined my whole night and made me so uncomfortable. I was there for two hours and sat waiting in the doctors room for 20 mins but you guys want to charge me $50 if I can't make it or if I would've been 15 late? Practice what you preach. I've never once missed an appointment, and there should be excerptions for illnesses. Next time I'll just come in and get all of you sick I guess? Again, I've referred 2 people here in just the last year alone, so that's another stinger for me. You're welcome?! Find better help, your receptionists have zero decorum.

Very satisfied with the thoroughness & time spent on assessment & explanation of my issues by all 3 professionals that I interacted with. Dr Reed, her assistant & the optician who spent considerable time helping me find the best pair of glasses. A very good experience.

The doctor was running behind when I arrived, but this was explained to me right away, and I was able to begin my appointment with the tech person, so when the doctor arrived, a lot had already been done. The doctor apologized and explained what happened. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything very well. Also, the support staff is always friendly and efficient.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Jennifer Hendrickson at Dr. Jennifer Shane's office. From start to finish, the entire staff was professional, prompt, and courteous. Dr. Hendrickson took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my exam and made sure all my questions were answered. The office runs efficiently, appointments are on time, and everyone you encounter greets you with genuine kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Hendrickson and the entire team at Dr. Jennifer Shane's office for all your optometry needs.

Dr. Shane and her entire staff are very thorough, efficient, and caring throughout your eye exam. It's really nice to have found such a wonderful eye practice. There is a large of variety of eye wear as well that's within anyone's budget. Highly recommend!
