Left eye a success right eye not so much. I had cataracts removed from the left eye was painless I wasn't stressed and saw nothing but a bright light I assumed it would be the same for my right eye but evidently the anesthesiologist did something different I guess I was awake I felt pain I could see things and I was scared I don't want to say anything as he was working on my eye but I didn't want to jar anything. Once my follow-up is done I'll be looking for a different eye doctor. The surgery center is just a total assembly line so yeah if you are not in the median group your experience may vary. It was scary and painful and totally unexpected since my other eye had gone so well.

I've been seeing Dr. Stanko for 18 years. I've had cataract surgery, laser, surgeries, and he's gotten my glaucoma under control. Yes, the wait is sometimes longer than I would like, but saving my eye sight is worth it. He's now caring for my 93 year old mother and a friend from CA. We feel lucky to have such a skilled, kind Dr. To care for us.

I have been coming to this doctor's office for a long time and the staff has been very helpful and friendly to me in all these years Justine and Sarah, just to name a few there's to many other's. Thank you all for being so nice and caring and friendly. Now to my doctor, what can I say about him is that he is the Best doctor in the world when I came to doctor Stankco I had several other surgeries before with several other doctors. When I was 13 I got hit in the eye with a rock and that lead me to have a cataract and glocoma ,and the removal of my lens in my left eye. So when I came to see doctor Stankco my eye had a lot of scar tissue I was wearing contacts ,that made my eyes very red. My eye developed Keratophathy l couldn't wear contacts anymore. I had always wanted to have a lens put in that eye but Doctor Stankco said it was to risky with all my scar tissue that I have had with all my surgeries. Long story, he decided he would do it, the results 2 months and many, many drops, I used to see 20/400 and motions now I see 30+2 and my right eye 25-2 Doctor Stankco is a MIRACLE with his knowledge and his hands and if you are so lucky to get him as your doctor you should be blessed. I haven't seen out of both of my eyes without something in them since I was 13. Thank you Doctor Stankco

This was the longest doctors appointment I ever had. I am a care giver for an elderly lady and we had to take her to an eye appointment with Dr Stanko. This appointment took over 5 hours. The office was overly packed with overbooked appointments. The staff was confused and could not get their office system to work. I spoke to a few friends who said the same thing. Don't plan on doing anything else if you have an appointment at this office. I don't ever want to go there again.

I have been seeing Dr.Cohen for 5 years and I absolutely love him and the staff! I have MS and optic neuritis and I have eye issues often and no matter the time or day I get seen or help even if they're slammed. I'm so fortunate to have Dr.Cohen and his staff who I know care about my well being and myself as a human :) It takes time when you're at this office, also if you're bleeding from your eye don't call just go in or go to the emergency room. There has been a time where I was waiting on the line for a half hour I said forget this I drove to the place while still on hold and got seen within 15mins

Dr Khanani is an excellent eye doctor. He gave free advice to my regular eye doctor before it was decided I should be transferred to his care. He is a 5-star doctor. The wait though is horrific. I've waiting 2 hours in the waiting room before and it's always been at least an hour, just to get back there to get my eyes dilated. After dilation, it's back to the waiting room another half hour. I wonder if the doctor has to work through lunch and after hours every single day because the scheduling is so slammed. Doctor comes in and that part is usually only ten minutes so I don't understand why it's so long besides to assume they're booking way too many people in one day. If he wasn't such a stellar eye doc, it would be 1-2 stars. While the actual visit part is short with the doctor, he's courteous and listens. He's good about not making it very painful (some eye doctors cause quite a bit of pain for me while looking into the back of my eye). Most of the staff is great and very friendly, a couple that are snooty tooty but overall great staff.

I was referred to Dr Stanko by my retina Dr to treat/manage glaucoma that was a side effect of other eye surgeries I have had. Both as a surgeon and my main eye doctor now for over 5 years, I have complete trust in DR Stanko. Some issues with the eye require immediate treatment up to and including surgery to prevent permanent loss of vision. These can be specialized issues that cannot be referred to a hospital emergency room and consequently can disrupt the scheduled appointments with a given Dr. I have been on both sides of this issue and am grateful that I was moved to the "Front of the line" more than once. This has given me perspective on the rare occasions when my appointments with Dr Stanko get pushed back or take longer than expected. I would (and do) recommend Dr Stanko and Sierra Eye Associates and his office to anyone in need of advanced eye care.

I had a small surgery when i went back for check up they started testing my eye after 45 minutes Dr told me that your eyes are fine and you do not have Glaucoma and then sent me a bill. I have never asked them to test my eye for Glaucoma, i have never had it in my family and my eyes operating well.
