I went to the Eyezone on S McCarren first and was not happy with the service there at all. I left and decided to go to the Eyezone in Midtown and it was 100 times a better experience. That is where I purchased my glasses. I wouldn't recommend the one on S McCarren due to the front-end staff but the one downtown, midtown, was 100% better.

I feel compelled to write this because as I was sitting in the lobby I noticed the receptionist with black and blonde hair conversating with the assistant and they could not help themselves from making fun of a patient. It was incredibly unprofessional and I cannot believe this behavior is allowed to persist. Coming to this eyezone location at least 3 times has made me realize these employees are miserable and are spreading bad vibes everytime. Can't believe this is consistently occurring. Your team should be reevaluated.

I will start out by saying the Dr was great. Now for the bad and the horrible. I ordered a pair of glasses and was supposed to get them 2 weeks later, not a problem at all. 4 weeks comes and goes and hear absolutely nothing. I call after a month and was told they were having a problem with the Oakley Lab. Ok, how is that my problem and why couldn't I be contacted? So, another 2 weeks go by, still nothing, no call, no email, absolutely nothing. I call back, same song and dance, was told they would be expedited and sent by 2 more weeks. Well, another 2 weeks go by and I call them again. Same story, now they just gave me a refund. I appreciate the refund, but I could have gone to another Eye practice in those 2 months of not knowing anything. Very, very unprofessional and extremely bad business. My family and I will never be returning. If you do go there, I hope your experience is a lot better, but reading comments and hearing other peoples stories, I would be very cautious.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Dr. Mia Barron was incredibly rude. As an individual who experiences light sensitivity. I wanted to discuss eye disease risks and my light sensitivity issues. She lacked compassion and was very stern, rude, and combative. I have never been treated so poorly by a "professional". This is the last time that I will visit this establishment. If you would like to have a pleasant experience with an OD, please visit elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience at this office. Dr. Mia Barron was unprofessional, rude and dismissive during my visit. She informed me that I might have glaucoma and even suggested the possibility of eye cancer, but did so in an abrupt and insensitive manner, offering no opportunity for follow-up questions or clarification. It was an extremely distressing experience and left me feeling unheard and dismissed.
The office manager did step in and handled the situation with empathy and professionalism. She reached out promptly to apologize and attempted to address my concerns, which I sincerely appreciate. However, based on my encounter with Dr. Barron, I would not feel comfortable returning to this office.
