Dr. Huntting is the best! Most caring and courteous eye doctor I have seen. He squeezed me in last minute for eye pain on two separate occasions. He also went out of his way to message and call me after hours. The staff is amazing and friendly too!

Dr. Macco was thorough and took the time to explain why I am experiencing certain issues and answered all my questions. Her staff were all knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend Family First Eye Care.

Best optometrist in Reno! Dr. Macco is phenomenal, she explains everything so well and is so kind. Lena is an amazing tech, so efficient and also explained everything so well. Vanessa helped me pick out some super cute frames (the frame selection is so good I honestly wanted everything) and she was able to do my lenses same day which is so convenient!! Overall, I can confidently say it was the best experience I've ever had with an optometry office in town, you can tell that everyone truly loves the work that they do and cares about every patient that walks in the door. I want to give them 100 stars!

Had a great check up today! Amazing family-owned practice that is super friendly and accommodating. I was initially evaluated at a different commercial/retail office but was unhappy with the whole exam so I came here for a second opinion. Dr. Huntting was very attentive and validated my concerns. They even offered a great cash pay price as I was not able to use my insurance today. Another great perk is the online scheduling feature. So happy with my visit and am relieved that my search for a good optometrist is over.

I had an excellent experience with Family First Eye Care. A very welcome facility, friendly and professional staff. Dr Melissa Macco was delightful, knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Macco is seriously one of the best people I've ever met, and it shows in how she takes care of her patients. I was able to get an appointment for my annual eye exam super quickly, and they even took my insurance--which is usually a hassle since I have school insurance. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure I understand my options for contact lenses. Plus, she lets me try them out before I have to commit, which is so helpful! Her staff is just as amazing--they make everything easy and are super flexible with communication. I love that I can call their office without long wait times, but I can also text them and get the same level of service. On top of all that, her clinic is beautiful! You can tell they put a lot of effort into making it a welcoming space. Overall, just an awesome experience. 10/10, highly recommend :)

Hands down the absolute best optometrist experience ever! I've been seeing eye doctors for over 30 years and now I will never go elsewhere. I can't rave enough about how kind everyone there is. Dr. Hunnting went out of his way to make sure I walked out with the correct prescription (unlike the last place), a trial pair of contacts the best deal possible on glasses. I will recommend them to everyone! Absolutely worth the drive from Fernley. Thank you Family First Eye Care, patient for life!

Dr. Huntting was amazing with both me and my kids. He was very patient, took his time to explain everything clearly, and made us all feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. It's not always easy finding a provider who's great with both adults and children, but he truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
