Pritchett Eye Care Associates - Baker

Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I've been a patient here for three years and have had no problems. Dr. Christina is the best.

The receptionist is extremely rude at this Baker Rd Pritchett Eye Care office. I was trying to find out what my exact total cost for a contact lens exam would be and what I would be paying and she just didn't want to explain if the retinal exam is simply a cost to me or if insurance would also be billed additional charges. She got snippy and upset and then asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment instead of just being professional and explaining the costs clearly. Since she didn't want to explain the costs, I did cancelled my appointment and will go elsewhere. Life is too short to deal with an unprofessional customer service person. ^^^^^^^ I left the above review and received the below response which I believe is just an automated response to a negative review. I called the number and asked to speak to a location manager. I got the run around but was persistent and was finally able to speak with someone. There was an apology but I still got a sense of lack of concern or desire to make customer service improvements. I asked if I as a wheelchair user would need to transfer into a chair as I originally was told I did not that they could accommodate me and the examination could be done while I remained in my wheelchair. That is why I made the appointment at this location in the first place because of what I was told about not needing to transfer out of my wheelchair. This so-called location manager did not know if that was correct and whether or not I would need to transfer. She stated she would look into it and call me back. I have yet to receive a call back response it has been over a week now. If you read the reviews you will see a common theme of customer service problems at this particular location. I will go elsewhere I recommend you consider going to a different optometrist business. Good Luck

Had a wonderful experience at Pratchett eye care. From the start of my visit until I walked out of Pratchett eye care.I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in Reno.

The optometrists are great the service not so much. I've been coming here for a while and I swear it's always something. One time they had my glasses for over a month no call no nothing to say your glasses have arrived. Now apparently who ever ordered my glasses ordered them wrong I got a call to say they were being reordered and when ready they would call so I can go and they can just pop the lenses in. I get a message saying they are ready I rush in during my lunch time since I work during their business hours and guess what??? It's a glitch in the aystem they aren't ready big waste of my time.

Dr. Dandy is wonderful. She was very thorough with her examination. I will definitely go back to her.

I came here months ago to get new glasses. The doctor is very nice but the people who help order your glasses seem to be trying to upsell a lot. They have extremely limited options for frames. I was charged and they told me that insurance didn't cover a lot, then the charge was taken off my card after a few days. I called them and was told that insurance covered more than what showed on my receipt. A few days after the call, they charged me again. There was no communication from them for months and my glasses never came in. I called and was given a long story about all the delays in shipping and whatnot. I was told they'd "throw in a spray bottle" for the inconvenience and that the glasses would be in by the end of the week. Again, no communication from them and weeks later I still had no glasses. I called again to request a refund. Conveniently, the glasses "just came in today". I had to wait months on end for glasses with no communication about the delay and they somehow show up when I finally ask for a refund. I will never come here again and I don't encourage anyone else to waste their time and money here. You're better off getting glasses online.

Horrible experience. We will never return to this location. The staff in the front both had unprofessional attitudes towards me and my daughter. Beware of hidden fees and manipulation tactics to pay a higher amount.

OFFICE PERSONEL ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.. I PERSONALLY HAVE SEEN DR. MATEOSAN FOR MANY YEARS AND HOPEFULLY WONT EVER HAVE TO CHANGE DOCTORS. THANKYOU.
