Keene Eye Care

I have been a patient of Dr Roettigers for many years. I had not been to see her for 3 years due to insurance issues. I called her office on Tuesday having had an issue of eye pain, dry eyes and redness and an eyelid closing issue. I was nervous because she had previously been watching me and doing pressure checks for glaucoma. Her office called me back the same day and got me in within 2 days. She came up with a treatment plan and found OTC medications as the drops I needed were not covered by my private insurance and gave me coupons for them. Her staff made me a follow up appointment, took my copay and agreed to bill me for any remaining balance making sure that the safety of my eye health and vision needs came first. Her staff was professional, friendly and courteous. Our local medical center refused to see me even with a referral from my PCP unless i scheduled an eye exam that was booking out 6 Months. I highly recommend Keene Eye Care. Kim the front office manager has always been helpful with scheduling and insurance verification and Sally has always been helpful fitting me with frames or fixing frames. My kids and I have had great experiences over the years. Thank you Dr R. And team!

Today I brought my glasses in to be fixed, as a screw had come loose. I expected to drop off the glasses and pick them up in a couple days or so. I also expected a repair fee. Neither of those things happened! Sally (?) was able to fix them in under 30 minutes, AND, I didn't get charged! Maybe because I bought my glasses there, but still. I would call this excellent service!!

The staff was so welcoming and kind. My daughter is 4, and everyone was so great with her. Tracy was absolutely amazing, funny, and just knows exactly what to do to make kids laugh while getting the info she needs. Recommend 1000 times and will definitely be going back!

Love this place! The friendliest folks, and always a positive experience. I have felt completely relaxed and confident with every visit, from the very first. I believe my eyes are in good hands. And incidentally, if you stop for frames, lenses, or glasses, you will be taken care of with skill and by one of the nicest people on the planet.

Eye exam was as expected. Very nice optometrist. After that I wouldn't give them 1 star. I left messages to order contacts. No return call or even a text. I did read a few weeks ago that I order contacts from a different person. I called her number and to my surprise, you will have to wait 2 weeks to even talk to her. What is happening to communicating with me the same day as my exam.

Dr. Tracy Roettiger and her staff are pleasant and helpful. Dr Roettiger explains everything up front and discusses all the exams and the results. The services purchasing eyewear is easy and quick.

Sally is the best! She typically drops what she's doing and puts me back on track. I completely enjoy a quick chat with her on most visits when we have time.

The office is calm and the setting very comfortable. The doctor and staff are very attentive to details, kind, efficient and I always leave feeling wonderful good about the visit.
