Vision Center

I can't say enough great things about the Vision Center. If you need anything at all, just ask! They're always ready to help. I'm so grateful my insurance is accepted here because I truly can't see myself going anywhere else. Plus, I've been coming here for several YEARS. I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Stacie, Carolyn, Josh, and John as well as Dr T. Thank you ALL for your superior work and outstanding service! I will continue to recommend any and everyone to come here.

I was able to get an appointment within a few months so that's a plus. However, unlike my previous ophthalmologist's office, they told me they would charge extra for a contact prescription. However, when I came in for my exam, not only did they try to check me out without the contact prescription, but I found out later when I attempted to order glasses they intentionally leave the PD off the script. They don't tell you this, you find out later and then they charge you extra if you don't buy your glasses from them. I found this a pretty sneaky way to penny and dime customers

I recently visited Dr. Dexter's Vision Center in Keene, NH, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Emily Tuthill was thorough and informative during my exam. The office is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern technology. They also offer a nice selection of eyeglasses and contacts. The main downside is that if you need to reschedule, you may have to wait another 4-6 months to get back on the schedule. For those who don't know their availability that far out, this can be difficult. They also mentioned having over 100 people on their cancellation waitlist in other review responses, so that's not a quick option either. Additionally, according to their phone message, they're not accepting new adult patients at this time, likely due to reaching capacity with their current patient load and extended wait times for appointments. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Dexter's for quality eye care if you're already a client--just be prepared for scheduling challenges if you need to reschedule your visit for some reason.

As new patients, my wife and I went to the Vision Center to fill out all the paperwork and set up initial exams. Tamara was incredibly helpful, professional, and a joy to work with. It really sets a positive tone for all our future interactions with this business!

Was not seen here so I have no knowledge of the care. However calling to schedule an eye exam and told to go onto the website and sign records release and they will review records before scheduling. I've never heard of this for a vision test. Called the place across the street and scheduled for 2 days from now. No records needed.

Great selection, nice office, and very friendly staff....so why the negative review? Well, after onboarding me as a new patient, they said they would call to sched an appt after review of previous doc records. 3 days later they call to inform me that they are denying me service because an eye test I had 4 years ago that showed that I am at risk for some eye condition. They claimed they don't have time to see people with these eye problems, even if it's just a possibility. My translation is that they likely make more money off simple patients. Either way, if you are in business to service Keene, then you should service Keene and not just cherry pick which patients you want based on medical conditions. Very disappointed in these guys.

Dr T is amazing. She was able to get our child in when he was having an emergency with his eyes. I have went here for years - and I really like it here!

Went in for annual eye exam. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Picked glasses out and eye insurance covers $250 remainder was $302. Paid it same day. Went back 3 weeks later to pick up glasses and got hit with a other $219 for the eye exam which is always covered by eye insurance. Couldn't understand why. Come to find out without my knowledge they ran the exam thru regular insurance Blue Cross. They said they had to because there was a tiny spot that now the Dr put in my chart as pre glaucoma so my eye insurance won't pay. I feel it was just a dirty sleezy move on Vision Centers part. Wonder how many times they run this scam. More than likely they will respond to this with some.kind of BS excuse. I guess they have to pay for the Keene taxes somehow.
