First. We really like Dr McManus. He's blunt treats you with respect and understands your time is just as important as his. But it's impossible for us to continue with this office became of his staff. The man who fits the glasses treats patients using wellsense insurance like absolute garbage. I can't even go get my glasses ordered because of how awful he treats us. I'd like to remind others that ones on wellsense are not trash. Myself and my children receive wellsense because my child is disabled and I had cancer. My husband works 60 plus hrs a week 6 days a week. He carried traditional insurance for himself and our son. The employee is so vile to people and not just to us. I've seen it. Even on the phone. If you make a mistake on a form he outright rolls his eyes at you like you are an idiot. I'm very sorry to leave. But Dr McManus it's because of him. I left last time and cried in the car. If others have the same experience please reach out to the office so maybe they will hire someone with a kind soul and a professional demeanor

I went for a routine eye exam ( 1 per year covered by my insurance) Dr McManus sent it into the insurance as a " problem visit" . The insurance didn't cover it . Dr McManus didn't tell me the problem or diagnosis or recommended treatment! I will not be going back !

Terrible. Been a patient for a year. Optician itself were professional enough for the short time I was there. However, how the business is rubbed is ridiculous. Too many patients so the wait time to see a doctor is WEEKS long and even longer at the waiting room. They're always behind and you get left waiting on THEM when you're the one on time. Unprofessional to say the least. Some (not all) secretaries can be rude as well. If you're on state insurance, don't bother. They now have you on separate waiting list god knows how long! Degrading. I already found a new optician that got me in on the same week I called. Won't be back nor I recommend this establishment to anyone.

Dr. McManus and staff are outstanding professionals. They are very patient, caring, and knowledgeable. When I experienced a medical issue with my eye they saw me within the hour. That's exceptional customer service! Dr. McManus has always worked with me to solve my particularly challenging vision issues and his office and optical staff are always friendly and go the extra mile to be sure I am satisfied. Thank you!

I went here the first time a few days ago. When I first called for an appointment, they were so busy they said it would be a month. I asked to be put on the stand-by list in case someone cancelled an appointment. BOOM, two days later I get a call and got in. The staff was super and I was examined by Dr. McManus. I try to always test the professionals I deal with and do it on the New Patient form. It usually asks for an Emergency Contact person. I insert my wife's name, but in the "Relationship" box, I always put: She Who Must Be Obeyed Within seconds of entering the exam room and saying "Hello, I'm Dr. McManus", he started to laugh. I knew he had seen it and it was a relief to be with someone with a sense of humor. The exam was excellent. I've been wearing glasses for 57 years so I've had more than a few exams. I'd highly recommend this business and they've got a fine selection of glasses at reasonable prices. I'll be ordering new frames today.

Generally nice place and the people working in the eyewear section are always a delight...if there's ever any room to see them, that is. This place take on so many patients you're lucky if your appointment is within this century. Don't even bother calling them if you're having an eye emergency either because even if you state it's an emergency and their website says they do emergency care, they'll just tell you to book an appointment months away or go somewhere else. When you are there for an appointment you're usually left waiting long past your scheduled time because once again, too many patients. This place really does have potential but they desperately need to expand the building and/or hire more optometrists.

The office space is a bit outdated, but that doesn't affect the quality of what I was there to do: get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. On those fronts,I was completed satisfied. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable. His exam was thorough, and he took the time to listen and discuss my options. The staff in the eye glass center were very helpful, took the time to help me find frames I liked ( and I was very picky!) and discuss all my options. finally, my glasses were ready on time

I would just like to say most people only write things when it is bad and never bother to write things when it is good or regular or as to be expected. Nothing is ever perfect but this office is kind and sweet and takes care of you. I had a late night apt for contacts and even though it took a long time they never show signs or frustration with me. I was having a hard time learning how to put my contacts in and they didn't make me feel like I was a burden. The girls at the desk were very friendly and courteous and personable. They even offered me the extended hour visit I did not know was even an option. For people who work long hours like me it is very hard to schedule appointments. I work 11 hour days. SO I was very appreciative of them making the suggestion to me because my appointment needed to be rescheduled. And hey guess what those types of things happen in life. We as the customer think its ok to change our apt, cancel, and no show with no regard to the business and what is costs them or messes with their schedule or day. They tend to only think of themselves. Also would like to add I received a call that an earlier apt opened up that day. I could not take it but it was very nice of them to reach out and offer it. Thank you so very much for taking such good care of me. They also take care of my children who have healthy kids/Medicaid. most places don't accept it and I can tell you the places that do tend to treat you like crap because you children receive healthcare assistance. This office has never made us feel less than.
