The Medical Eye Center - Peterborough

I could not be happier with my experiences with Medical Eye Center. I see Dr. Elia on a regular basis as a follow up for retinal tears. Always thorough and very professional. Yesterday, I thought I had had another tear, so the staff was able to find an appointment in the afternoon with Dr. Fazelot. Thankfully, not a tear, but I really appreciate the quick and caring service. First class staff and first class service. Thank you.

Very happy with the staff and the outcomes of my procedures. Dr. Bartels performed two cataract surgeries, which went extremely well. She is going to perform a laser surgery to clear out some posterior capsular opacification that has occurred in one eye after two years. She and the technicians have explained all procedures to me, and have patiently answered any questions I have had.

I was nervous about this appt. They said it would take 2 hrs! Honestly, it was less than 2 hrs. I did not wait long for anything. The technician did quite a few eye tests/exams but it went fast. Dr Bartels was lovely and informative. I highly recommend them.

Very nice people in the front office. Technician Theresa was very pleasant and thorough. Explained each test very well. Dr. Link was so nice, explained everything he found on my results and didn't mind my many questions. I feel a little less anxious about cataract surgery, thank you Dr. Link.

Procedure went well, so the 2 stars are not for the MD. I was not informed of all my appointments, and was called into the office, late for an appointment. Being a diabetic, I requested early procedures, and was told I would get them, but was scheduled for 1130 am. First eye appointment was at 1030, and was left in pre op for 3 hours waiting for anesthesiologist, who was tied up with another patient. I understand that, however, I did not request, or received anesthesia. So my first eye was done by 2pm. Again, not early for a diabetic, and my blood sugar was 60. Then, we were told MD office called in eye drops to our pharmacy, only to find out they were not. Waited hours to get it all straightened out.

Dr Link was fantastic- very thorough, explained his thought process well. The office staff was super accommodating and got me in very quickly for an appointment, and we're a pleasure to work with!

Very impressed with Medical Eye Center. Very thorough went above and beyond addressing any concerns. Jennifer was very professional and Calming. Dr. Bartels was very knowledgeable and conservative in her treatment. Would recommend anyone.

Everyone at the office was very pleasant. The wait was minimal. The only complaint that I have is the driving instructions once you get to the second round about. The office is not "drive straight" that is the building for oncology and more. You have to go the Arts building.
