White Mountain Eye Care & Optical

Went for an annual eye exam for my second year here with Dr.M. The entire office staff are wonderful, friendly and professional. Dr. M was very precise and to the point and explained everything clearly. He was professional and all business. He saw me for maybe 4 minutes. I only wish he was a little more friendly and pleasant like the rest of his people. At least say "Have a nice day" or "thank you for coming in"... Instead of me the parent wishing him a nice day! All he said at the end was how to check out. So 4 stars instead of 5, even though he technically did his job perfectly.and promptly A little politeness and learning how to smile would work wonders. I think he may be a little stressed out from work overload. He didn't seem too happy. His office was overly busy that day.

Today I picked up my eye glasses. I spoke with Beth on the phone to arrange pickup. She was warm, polite and responsive. She was there when I picked them up. She was very thorough and adjusted my glasses to be comfortable. I haven't worn glasses in many years and got bifocals. I can't believe how seamless my experience was and I can see both far away and close up seamlessly.. wow..what have I been missing. Very happy and satisfied. Thanks Beth! Lind E.

I am so impressed with Beth and the team in the optical shop. By no fault of their own, my glasses were delayed by weeks. And they have done WAY more than is necessary to make that up to me! I am so very grateful and will be returning as a happy patient for sure!

I was told my my primary physicians to do yearly checkups on my eyes after 2 concussions and sudden increases of eye floaters after them. Moved to NH and this was my first time here for the more in depth check up on them. Ophthalmologist Musco was the one who came in to review with me, he wanted to be there for a total of 30 seconds. He didn't like me asking questions regarding my health and eyesight moving forward. He rushed the whole thing after I've tried since April (5 months) to get an appointment settup. Will be moving my Healthcare back to Connecticut where they at least give you the time of day. Afterall one would expect them to answer your "dumb" questions regardless since they are going to milk a short few minutes for hundreds of dollars...

It has been about a month since I received my lenses for White Mountain Eye Care, and I am still thinking of how kind the staff was. The turn around was incredibly quick, especially considering the pandemic, and they made it a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them.

Very friendly staff. Clean office. Dr. Ough was excellent. Very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs, to educate me, and to ensure I understood the information he was providing multiple times throughout the appointment.

Dr Ough is an excellent eye doctor. Explained everything comprehensively. Very thor- ough . Definitely recommend.
