Four County Family Eye Care Center

This place has really gone down hill since Dr. Cohen retired. The new so called Drs have no clue about contacts. I use Biofinity toric multifocal but yet they still want to make one eye for distance and the other for close up. I've tried to explain to them that my contacts are the same as a pair of bifocal glasses. The last time I went back I saw a different Dr. and she told me that they have to make adjustments to the magnification because it's to much info for any company that makes contacts so they need to make it easy for them. I wasn't aware that the places that make contacts are stupid! Any way they tried two times with different contacts and still can't see with them and now it's been well over a month with still no contacts or anything. I guess they're a nickel & dime scammers for the cost of contact exams with never fulfilling the service. They have lost 3 customers.

After 20years, I never thought I would had to write this review. Dr. Cohen retired and the new owner and the associates who are still working there just became lazy and careless. They no longer have any set doctors, bunch of rookies. All feature and currents patients, I would no longer recommend this place for your eyes. They start to become number pusher like lenscrafters, no more Cohen comprehensive exam. I know I'm taking my family else where and will recommend all friends to do the same!

My family and I have lived in the area for almost 30 years and were referred to Dr. Michael Cohen by our neighbors. This is by far the most comprehensive, caring and patient eye doctor we've ever been to! This small office has a definite charm; many of the people working there have been there for a long time and are like family.

Dr. Cohen gives the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever received. He is very thorough and takes his time with each patient. You won't get a better eye exam anywhere else in South Jersey.

The eye doctor at Four County Family Eyecare, Dr. Michael Cohen, truly cares about his patients' well-being. During my eye exam, he really took the time to describe the procedures, and explain what my results actually meant in a way that was easy to understand. Four County Family Eyecare in Berlin, New Jersey reminds me of how doctors offices used to be, before big, impersonal chain stores, with their impersonal, hurry up, get them in and get them out mentalities started popping up all over. I highly recommend this family practice to anyone looking for an eye doctor.
