Clifton Eye Care Pediatric Center

I been going there for years and honesty staff ( especially front desk and the optician glass salespersons are very rude and unprofessional ) I am guessing the front desk supervisor has a very rude and nasty way to talk to patients as they aren't happy to be there . They are more into eating and paying attention to their phones than with patients . When was time to check out and go get their yearly free glasses the lady right away told me is a $ 100 copay without showing me nothing or explaining w the change in my insurance . She was also more into her tik tok video with her air pod than she was in her job . Told her I call insurance and to just give me the prescription . I call the insurance and the representation told me I had $75 cover for frame and free lens . She explain me maybe $100 copay bc I pick a pricey frame but I explain she NEVER SHOW ME ANYTHING AND JUST SAID " GLASSES ARENT FREE AND IS A $100 COPAY. Trying to see if there was a number or a manager to let them know about their unprofessional staffs. .

Absolutely horrible service. 2 months to get glasses, still waiting for them to do prior approval for CT scan, 2 months and still waiting. Do yourself a favor and find a different place

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this eye care office. From the moment I walked in, the receptionists were incredibly rude and unhelpful. It felt like I was an inconvenience to them rather than a patient they should be assisting. Not only did they treat me poorly, but the overall service was subpar. I had to wait an unreasonably long time, however the eye doctor was very friendly. I will absolutely never return to this office again and would advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere for eye care. Terrible experience all around.

Very happy with the service. Local friendly, independent , opticians . Have been very helpful and efficient.

The WORST like beyond the WORST place to go. Starting from the managers to the front desk and optical! They don't answer your calls, they transfer but you always have to leave a voice message and when you ask them nicely to call you back they can't even do that. Took months to get my daughter glasses! And the attitude is horrible they give you the side eye and with optical they don't even communicate with you they just tell to pick a frame and give you a price. Horrible and nasty place.

Don't not waste your time taking your kids here! Yes It's clean, and does have nice medical assistant but the optical department SUCKKKKKKSSSS! They are very pricey when it comes to picking out kids glasses and they don't have a good selection! They NEVER ANSWER the phone or call you back! She'll tell you that it will take 2 weeks for your childs glasses and it takes waaayyy longer! As soon as we receive our glasses, whenever that is, we will not be coming back! They need to do better!

This place is extremely unprofessional. They're staff is unethical and are not attentive to details. My mother got glasses and they lied to us for two months, as to why they still weren't ready. To add, the supervisor was kind and tried to resolve the situation, since the staff below her was giving four different excuses. Well, the glasses were made, but what we paid for is not on her shades. Let's not add the errors from the surgical department. The surgeon on site is amazing, but I can not say the same for the staff there. They know it's me when I call, and the avoid the call like the plague. Even heard a "it's her again" and they've hung up on me. Extremely "professional." I have every right to be upset. Just be straight forward and admit you messed up the order. Now I'm trying to contact them because the order is still messed up, and nothing. Avoid this place like the plague. Not worth your time, your sanity nor your money. The staff needs a seminar on how to be attentive to details, polite and ethical. We've been patient and ethical about this all. Accepted the apology and kept it moving, but now to find out the shades are messed up, sucks. Truly need a refund. Sadly time is not returnable. I truly held off on the review giving them the benefit of the doubt. But Damn.

If I could give a ZERO star I would because this has been the WORST office visit I have ever been to, was seen at the CLIFTON NJ OFFICE. I took my 7 year old daughter for an INITIAL visit and the only person who was quite nice was the one receptionist who checked us in. After that everyone else was so unprofessional and even after I told them I didn't want my daughter glasses they still processed the claim to the insurance which had to be reversed. The girl by the optical service was on her phone all the time and another one eating at her desk while patients are around and did not even bother to ask if we needed help. I would NEVER recommend any family or friends here because this is the worst place to go to. Please go somewhere else and avoid this place if you can.
