I had such a wonderful experience today! Dr. Hariharan was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough during my daughter's exam. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel calm and cared for throughout the entire visit. Kenneth was also amazing while helping us with the glasses. He was very friendly, attentive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He answered all our questions and helped us choose the best option with so much patience. As a mom, I truly appreciated how caring and professional they both were. Thank you, Dr. Hariharan and Kenneth, for your excellent service and for making today's visit such a positive experience for my family. We are very grateful!

I gave Clifton Eye Care Center another chance just because of Dr. Sarentini as a referral from a friend that was seen by him and had a great experience, he is great, best eye doctor I have ever been seen by. We are a family of 4 that had to look for another practice because of the lack of communication from the practice, I was given appointment dates, confirmed and when I would go the appointment I was told in 2 instances that the doctor had an emergency and that my appointment was canceled. Keep up the good work Dr Sarentini !!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this eye doctor and would not recommend this practice. The office is extremely difficult to reach. Phones are rarely answered, and the reception staff is unhelpful and dismissive when you do get through. I never felt supported or taken seriously as a patient. What concerned me most was the medical care itself. The doctor performed an eye procedure to remove my chalazions without properly walking me through my options beforehand. I was awake during the procedure and in visible pain, and it became so unbearable that we had to stop after only one eye was treated. The experience was distressing and poorly handled. The office also appears overwhelmed with patients, particularly Medicare cases, and the staff clearly cannot keep up with the volume. As a result, patients with other insurance seem neglected and rushed through the process. Overall, the lack of communication, compassion, and patient care was unacceptable.

Hi Mary Labowsky! You prescribed me an MRI with and without contrast to rule out a Brain Tumor or the autoimmue MG as the underlying issue for my sudden esotropia at age 35. I had one scheduled 2/26 but the office at NJ eye and ear accidentally sent in two separate MRI codes (one MRI with contrast one MRI without - instead of one MRI with both) to be authorized the morning of my appointment. My appointment ended up being cancelled because of the code mix up and time crunch. We are holding off on rescheduling at the moment because the radiologist has not been able to contact anyone at NJe&e to submit an authorization with the correct code. I'd really like to see you again because of your expertise with adult strabismus! Is there a way you could resubmit the correct code on behalf of the authorization department? My radiologist suggested I find a different Ophthalmologist to get a new MRI script since they'd been trying since the February 17th before my appointment to get any codes sent in. Our follow up to go over results is scheduled for March 16th and I would love to keep that appointment and get the MRI before then. Thank you! Cora Dwyer DOB: 12/30/1990

Amazing experience today with Dr. Ariola & Kenneth from optical department. The doctor answered all my questions and concerns. Kenneth helped me with picking out my glasses and explained all the options for my lenses. Will return next year as I had a good experience!!

NJ EYE AND EAR IS AMAZING!!! The reason I came to your offices for checkups was because my prior eye care specialist would literally have patients waiting for 4-5 hours for their appointment. Always talked about a machine they never seemed to want to fix, and the doctor could only make it in after 1. I don't know how you guys do it, but you seem to execute perfectly. If my appointment is for 8 AM, then I am taken care of at 8 am. Besides the fact that all staff members from the front desk, the technicians and Doctors seem very caring and friendly. It does not get any better!!! Highly recommended!!!

This place gave me an appointment for 7:45am and it is 7:57am and the place is closed. And before they say that I didn't call to confirm, that's a lie. They left a message saying they were going to cancel my appointment if I didn't confirm and I called them right back and spoke to someone. These people will send you an email to confirm via email and then claim they didnt receive the confirmation. This is unacceptable. Don't come to the place, find somewhere else to go.

Very nice experience here for my first two visits, very clean and professional. Ximena helped me pick out the cutest glasses and I am very happy with them and they were early to arrive! Will be returning next year for my next appointment. (:
