The Dr himself was great. The office is out dated dirty and it smells. The staff was not so friendly and the guy that called me to pick up my glasses was rude as hell. This place needs all new staffing and a makeover.

This Is An Excellent Eye Doctor if You're Interested In getting the Experience of a Lifetime! I don't understand why anyone would not rate this establishment anything but 5 Stars! You don't have to wait to be served, they are Polite, friendly and Costumer Service is their Specialty. My glasses I took yesterday to get my lenses changed are ready today! Amazing job! Who dose that. The eye Doctor is patient and gives you great bedside treatment or chair side if you will treatment. I give everyone the thumbs up for this place. I'm never going anywhere else! Go you will see, what I'm talking about! I'm so Happy! Happy Blessed New Year! Go get you eyes checked!

I've been coming here since I was a teenager! Now over 30. John has been nothing but courteous and professional every time I saw him or just went to say hello. He has always given me best treatment and assure that i leave satisfied with my glasses and contacts. The staff has always been nice and even some times go above and beyond to help. Even over 20 years. Never had a bad visit. Yes it gets busy just like any other establishment. But i recommend! Tell them Erica sent you I've gotten pretty shades, transition prescription glasses and contacts for my astigmatism. I have never gone to a different optometrist.

The receptionists were kind and helpful. However, the doctor wasn't efficient. He didn't seem as if he cared about the patient. I went on a Monday, they don't accept walk-ins on Mondays, however because I was experiencing pain they took me. My injury happened a little while ago, so he was more so concerned about how long it took for me to get to a doctor than actually helping me. When I made it clear that I didn't agree with him asking that question multiple times and not asking about my pain, he told me to leave.

The staff are fine. Quick service. You can tell the doctor is a expert. Butttt the place is OLD AND OUTDATED. It definitely needs an upgrade it just looks like there's no love and care there. Definitely not a welcoming feeling at all, the back office where you do the eye exam is dark and gloomy the equipment look 100 years old. Just a very eerie looking place.

I have been a regular patient of Dr.Spiro for several years and had always received good and courteous service. But today was the total opposite. I had an appointment and when i arrived they were very busy seemed as though they were "overbooked". The worker Knoll was not courteous spoke to me as though my business was meaningless to the establishment. Very unprofessional and beligerant. He even said he was gonna call the police and claim i threatened him, which i never did. I am not a person that will conduct myself in such a manner. But i did make it clear to him that i was not gonna allow him to speak to me as though i was a child or in a manner to which i felt as if i was being disrespected. He definitely does not have the people skills needed to be dealing directly with the public. I reported the incident to my insurance company because they (eye dr.) are the provider my insurance has authorized and as such my insurance should not allow a provider to be a part of their network when it treats its members in an unprofessional manner. I will not use them again. And strongly do not recommend anyone else to.

I am only giving a one star because I have to in order to create the review post .....Listen save yourself time and go to your local Walmart, warby parker or even costco. My experience both times were terrible and the doctor is so nasty. The way he speaks to his staff is horrendous (quite literally was arguing with his staff in front of the clients, nasty), he should be grateful they even show up to that rat pit they call an office...the place itself looks outdated and filled clutter. Their selection for eyewear is very limited. I came to this place because it was down the street for me (more convenient) but I will happily hop in my car and go somewhere else, I would walk 10 miles on glass or hot coal before I go back to that hell hole. I would take 3 buses, 2 trains and a taxi in a winter blizzard before going back to this place. When he was doing my exam his demeanor and mannerisms were not inviting at all, it was almost like me being there was an annoyance. .. listen save time and energy! GO somewhere else.

I've been going to this place for over ten years. But this past week I went to have tint put in my frames like I've always done so I was told it would cost me thirty five dollars from the twenty five dollars I was ues to paying ok no problem. Then I get a call telling me he wouldn't be able to do it so when I went to pick up my frames me and the owner talk for a few so John the owner said that he would try fixing the frames and he did. But what I didn't appreciate was when I came to pick up the frames the price changed from thirty five dollars to a hundred an ten dollars. I mean he made it right and things but my problem is this when you say one thing stand by it don't be slick about it because you make me think you're scamming folks for that little bit of money.
