I can't say enough good things about Dr. McGowan and his team. Going to the eye doctor can sometimes feel like a chore, but honestly, it's a great experience every time. Dr. McGowan is not only a fantastic optometrist, he's also an Eagles fan. You know he's a good guy. Our appointments are half eye exam, half spirited debate about the last Birds game. He even treats Cowboys fans, which, frankly, shows incredible patience on his part. And then there's Jen in the office. I'm pretty sure I'm going in just to see her! She's hilarious, so friendly, and makes everything so easy. Honestly, she's the reason I keep showing up on time. The whole office is just so personal, kind, and professional. If you want to get your eyes checked by people who feel like family and share your love for the Birds, this is the only place to go. I highly recommend them!

Been going to Dr McGowan for more than 30 years. He is very kind and takes his time you don't feel rushed.

Dr. McGowan was recommended to us several years ago from a handful of people in town. We wanted to find someone that our child would feel comfortable with. So glad we found him! Dr. McGowan has a great personality, and he cares about his patients. He has gone above and beyond to get things done, more than once and we truly appreciate that! The Flemington office is very well run, small but efficient. Jennifer and Jim are also friendly, responsive and always follow-through with scheduling, contact orders and glasses.

Dr. McGown does a superb, careful, thorough eye exam, answers questions in as much detail as I need. Great to have conversation with, too. His practice is busy, reflecting how good he is. Need eye care? Make an appointment, go see him; you'll be happy you did.

The best at what he does! I had endured an incorrect contact lens prescription for 7 years despite going to 3 different doctors. Dr. McGowan figured out the problem within 5 minutes of my first appointment! No flashy office- just excellent knowledge and superb patient care. Very pleasant staff also!
