Excellent eye doctor, finally got me into the right prescription after 2 years struggling with my astigmatism. Updated machines beautiful rustic decor when you walk in. Shawn was very helpful when picking out frames and they worked with my insurance!

Where to begin with this delightful experience? I hadn't seen a doctor since my childhood, and the prospect of having my eyes checked made me a bit nervous. I've always been a dedicated reader glasses user, but I knew it was time for a more comprehensive solution. Dr. Angel turned out to be a real gem, not just for his expertise but also for his warm and friendly approach. He took the time to educate me about my eye health and what my eyes needed, which was truly reassuring. And then there's Shawn, who welcomed me the moment I stepped through the door. After my eye exam, he made choosing the right frames a breeze. You'd be surprised how little we know about what suits our face until someone like Shawn helps you out. His friendly demeanor and expert guidance made the process enjoyable. But what impressed me most was when I had to pick up my prescription glasses; Shawn stayed late to ensure I got them on time. He didn't rush me out, making sure I was comfortable before I left. In a nutshell, the whole experience at this place was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back. Dr. Angel and Shawn have not only taken care of my eyes but also won me over with their friendly and caring service.

I truly had an incredible experience at this store. The doctor was very welcoming and intelligent. He was easy to speak to throughout the eye exam and made me feel comfortable. He also explained the pictures of my eye to me which really helped to put things into perspective. He was very thorough and truly cares for his patients and their satisfaction. Also, the front desk salesman was great and helped me find the exact pair of glasses I wanted. I highly recommend this store to all and will be coming back for my next annual. What a great place! From the second we walked in the door, we felt the warmth, and friendliness of this place. The aesthetic was just perfect! We were immediately welcomed with a friendly smile and they went above and beyond to make sure our insurance was accepted! The Dr was friendly and professional and he went above and beyond. While we are here in Jersey, this will be our place! Super excited we found it and can't wait to go back! Oh and although we did t purchase any, the selection of glasses were plentiful and beautiful. Lots of choices and designer frames as well.

My experience at Cohen's Fashion Optical was phenomenal from start to finish. Both the sales manager and the doctor met all of my needs. The doctor explained everything thoroughly, this made me extremely comfortable. Shawn gave lots of advice on the sales floor. He wasn't pushy and he was extremely honest. I definitely recommend Cohen's for all of your optical needs.

I booked through ZocDoc on a Friday evening and they were waiting for us the next day as we walked through the door! Dr. Angel Arizmendy was incredibly patient and compassionate with my son who is on the spectrum. He quickly diagnosed my son's issue, which was not a traditional "bad vision" diagnosis. I was really impressed by the doctor's thorough examination and explaining everything to me in plain terms - I was able to easily relay the issue to my husband who was not present. Shawn was incredibly patient with my son as he chose his frames. Very lucky to have such a wonderful local shop in the area where we really felt important and valued; not just a number.

After recently moving to the Freehold area, we needed to find a place to get my daughter's glasses prescription filled. I am so happy we found Cohen's Freehold!
