Very nice doctor. Office always clean Reception is very nice. Frame selection is good too but they never have my contacts in stock due to the prescription strength. Have been a client for over 25 years for regular visits/checkups and have always seen the same doctor. The ONE time I had an emergency they were unable to accommodate.

The store itself is always clean, and appointments are always speedy. The real reason for my review is the customer service. While everyone has a different experience, I've had only good ones here. Chloe helped me over the phone rather easily, and was nice the whole way through. It may have been simple, but it was good service. Anybody looking for a place to shop for nice glasses with a friendly and speedy staff should definitely stop by!

Been a patient for over 20 years! I am always satisfied with Dr Borchers and his office. He is very professional very caring. I would highly recommend visiting this office. I go for a eyeglass and contact lens appointment every year even though I have moved out of the area, I especially travel to this office.

This place is actually a -100 stars.Dr Borchers is phenomenal!The rest of the place is a disaster.They don't know how to navigate the insurance and literally pull you over the coals the day before your appointment to get them what they need or they threaten to cancel your appointment that was made weeks before. Straighten things out when the appointment is made instead of imposing last minute surprises on the customer.Technicians doing the tests are untrained and inadequate. I saw the technician doing 2 tests wrong and mentioned it.She thanked me for letting her know and instead of starting the test over, she just made the needed adjustment and continued where she left off and handed the doctor the results. He came in and told me my eyes had drastically changed and I promptly informed him that he may want to train his technician and have my tests repeated. I told him I saw the test being done incorrectly and it was just continued instead of starting over and inaccurate information was handed to him to make important decisions about my eyes and I have a real problem with that. A different technician repeated the tests and he said my eyes were fine. It was overly concerning. How many other people did she give the doctor inaccurate data for who are probably walking around with the wrong prescription. Then we move on to the exam with the doctor and it was flawless. He is exceptional. He gave me a prescription and I went out to the main area to buy glasses and things fell apart again. They sold me a pair of glasses I paid hundreds of dollars out of pocket for that were literally falling apart in my hands in less than 2 years. I went to them after 6 months with one side unscrewed and paint on the frames peeling. I was told I did not buy the one year $45 warranty when I bought the glasses so there was nothing they could do. When I asked why they didn't tell me that at the time of purchase, the answer was "we must have forgotten". Their mistake became my liability and they didn't care. At the same appointment, I was purchasing prescription sunglasses. Right after learning that I got screwed from not having a warranty on my regular glasses, the lady tried to sell me sunglasses without the warranty coverage. I intentionally waited to see if she would offer it to me and I let her ring the whole order up and when she asked me for payment I asked if she put the warranty purchase on the order so we don't repeat the same issue with the sunglasses if a problem occurs that I just went through with my regular glasses. She said said no I didn't put it on your order. So, I made her redo the entire sunglass order and put the warranty coverage on it. A month later I had to return with the sunglasses because they were sliding up and down my face and wouldn't stay on the bridge of my nose. They said they needed to be further bent to hug my face tighter.That lasted 1 week and they started sliding again.We repeated that process 5 times in 2 months and I finally told them I cannot keep coming back every week to have my glasses re-bent.There has to be a different solution.I went to 2 other eye glass stores to see if they could help me only to learn there is nothing that can be done.The 2 other places said they can re-bend them all they want to and it won't work because the frames themselves are too big my face and will never be able to be bent enough to fit and not slide.I went back to Pearl Vision to let them know that 2 other places assessed my sunglasses and my face and concluded that the frames sold to me are too big for my face.The lady at Pearle Vision insisted they were correct and there was nothing further they could do.These were my first pair of prescription sunglasses that I was so excited to get them and I paid almost $600 for them only to never be able to wear them because the frames are too big and they will not stay on my face.Every part of their business is broken except the doctor.The front desk, the technicians doing the eye tests, the people helping you buy the glasses and the service when an issue comes up with the glasses.

I have been going here for over 10 years. My 2 sons and my husband have also gotten their glasses here. Today will be my last time, congratulations you lost 4 customers due to the incompetence of the people working here. This is the 3rd time I have ordered glasses from this location and it just sits there, NO ONE calls to let you know that the glasses you have paid for in full has arrived. It's sits there for weeks and no one seems to care to call customers. No sincere apology either. No regard for customers, no customer service training. There are just too many other places in this area to continuously endure this kind of incompetence and arrogance. It's really a shame because this is a good doctor with a very unprofessional staff.
