Dr Liva is fantastic! He is a gentleman, a professional and listens to you. He also communicates which wasn't happening with my former eye doctor. The receptionist was able to schedule me an appt same day while having allergic conjunctivitis. Dr. Liva examined me thoroughly and prescribed me eyedrops telling me I would feel better in 2 days. My pics are before and after 2 days later. Thank you!

This was my first and last time going to Dr Liva. He came in the room and did not introducing himself or ask why I was there. He immediately tried to put drops in my eyes without saying a word about what he was doing. I told him I was there for a Ptosis test for my eyelids. His response was " That Test takes 20 minutes and I cannot do it today." I told him I had told the front desk that was the reason for my appt when I called. His response, " the front desk doesn't know, You would have needed to talk to a technician to make the appt for the test". Excuse me, I told the front desk exactly why I was making the appt. They should have told me to speak to a technician. He said, you'll have to make another appt for the test but you have dry eyes, we'll give you some drops. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this place.

Front desk Yoann is a sweetheart. She was extremely professional and helpful. However, Dr. Paul Liva was far from professional. Walks in the room without introducing himself or even greeting. He was blowing his nose the entire time without washing his hands. His hands were shaking the entire exam part. He then left me in the room for 20min to take care of another patient. Finally from what should've been a 30min appt since I was the first appt of the day it ended up being 1hour 20min, he wrote the wrong prescription which I paid for $50, had to wait another 10min for them to fix it. No bedside manners whatsoever from this Doctor. Will never see him again. The Optician Judith was also a sweetheart, she helped me throughout the process of ordering my new eyewear prescription.

Very disappointed. My 77-year-old dad went in for a tearing eye, but Dr. Liva never examined him directly -- the assistant did. They diagnosed dry eyes, but a second opinion revealed a cornea infection needing frequent antibiotic drops. They also gave a glasses prescription far higher than his current one, which could have caused serious issues if not caught. Careless and inaccurate. I do not recommend this doctor or his practice.
