EyeDocs USA Highland Park

I went to this office for my yearly check-up, and the experience was extremely frustrating. It took three months for me to finally receive my contact lens prescription. During that time, they ordered the wrong contacts not once, but three separate times. Each time, I had to drive over 30 minutes to the office, only to be told--again--that the wrong contacts had been ordered and that they "apologize." Communication was also terrible. I constantly had to call the office myself to get updates because they never reached out, even though they gave me specific dates when my contacts were supposed to be ready. Those dates were always wrong. To make matters worse, they promised to order additional trial contacts to make up for their repeated mistakes, but instead they only gave me the same incorrect ones. On top of that, the doctor provided me with the wrong prescription--the box stated one thing, while his written prescription said another. This forced me to return yet again, wasting more time and effort. Overall, the level of unprofessionalism was unacceptable. I had to go without proper contacts for three months, and even after finally receiving a prescription, I no longer trusted it due to the repeated mistakes made by both the office and the doctor, which forced me to seek care elsewhere. I don't recommend this office because their repeated errors, lack of accountability, and poor communication not only wasted my time and money, but also undermined my trust in their ability to provide safe and reliable care.

I recently had an eye appointment with Dr. Taylor @ EyeDocs in HP, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. He took his time to explain everything he was doing, was professional & personable and even made me laugh to ease any anxieties going to the doctor inevitably brings. Right when you walk in, the front desk staff are incredibly kind and attentive, which made the entire visit smooth and pleasant. They were all smiles from the moment I walked into the moment I left. I highly recommend EyeDocs in HP for anyone looking for quality eye care!

Yes, it is true that "Val" and "Rex were very helpful in assisting me at the front desk. In addition "Yulissa" Dr. Kincade' assistant-as well as Dr. Kincade had helped me to understand what they were doing with my eyes and why. All of the above staff in the EyeDocs USA Highland Park location presented 100% professionalism when I had my first visit (9/5/2025). Fast forward to (11/14/2025): Although staff still remains professional and quite busy, I am not very happy about the SALES DEPARTMENT at EyeDocs USA Highland Park. I was only shown the more expensive types of glasses, $200 plus, not to long ago. I am angry and I am not very happy about this at all. My bill alltogether is $600, minus my plans coverage of $200. That leaves me with a $400.00 bill which I had already put down $50 so far. I trusted the sales person at the time, but I realize now that she was just out to make a good sale at my expense. It was on 11/14/2025, when I found out that there existed a less expensive section of glasses. It's deceitful because I wasn't never told about the other section. I don't believe that she was an honest sales person and I don't appreciate that at all. Something needs to be ratified. So, I have put in a complaint to my insurance company claiming that I was lured over to view the more expensive glasses when clearly there was also a section where the glasses were more affordable and it was on 11/14/2025, when I found out that there existed a less expensive section of glasses. My insurance plan will be following up with EyeDoc USA Highland Park very soon...

Absolutely horrible experience - do not go here! Zero stars. I went in to purchase glasses at Eye Docs in Highland Park. I received a voicemail saying my glasses were ready for pickup. The next day, I drove there during a storm to get them - only to find out that no one could locate my order. The employee at Highland Park even called the Middlesex office, but they couldn't find my glasses there either. Since then, I've called multiple times, and every time I get a different story about whether my glasses are ready or where they even are. No one follows up, no one communicates, and I've had to chase them down for updates that never come. Mind you, when I went to pick them during the storm during their operating hours, I had to ring the bell and bang on the door more than 5x until an employee finally came to the door, it was clear he was trying to avoid coming to the door at all. I ended up waiting there for nearly an hour that day, just to walk away with nothing then receive no phone call updates after - unprofessional. Also, out of the countless times I have called them to get an update of my own, they never pick up. They already took my first payment, but at this point, I absolutely refuse to pay the second portion because of the endless runaround and unprofessional behavior. One employee even told me he'd tell them to offer a discount after all the trouble - but since then, I've had nothing but more issues and zero accountability. This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I've ever had. Between the lack of communication, the misinformation, and the unprofessional handling of something as simple as picking up glasses - I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. PS) I still don't have them.

Staff in Highland Park location, were so helpful in taking care of my 101 year old father's glasses. I live out of state and coordinated my father's care over the phone directly with Val in office. My dad was able to be seen right away and was so happy. In addition to being nice, they were very thorough and detailed in their care! I would highly recommend!!

Awesome service. I came in with damaged frames and Leslie worked hard (& carefully) to restore them to perfect condition. I'm not even a regular customer (visiting my daughter from out of town) but they treated me with courtesy & promptness. I'm 71 and have worn glasses since I was three. I've had my glasses serviced in Beijing, San Jose CR, NYC & Minneapolis. This shop is the best!

10/10 experience every time!!! I usually don't enjoy going to the doctors lol but this is an exception! Dr. Taylor is very thorough, patient, and proficient in his skills. The whole staff including the reception desk and assistants are all very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend coming here!! (:

You can get your exam here but I recommend NOT to get your frames from here. No communication and it has been over two weeks and still no glasses. No communication whatsoever
