America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My visit was on 3/5/2026. First time ever using americas best and was pleasantly welcomed upon entering. Everyone had wonderful energy. Laura helped me with finding the perfect pair of glasses in both style and shape while recommending better options that still kept the look of the glasses I wanted as well as the ones that complimented my face shape best. She was very thorough and was able to break down what my options were with both insurance and if I wanted a second pair. Her service was natural, effortless & genuine. Most importantly I was able to browse with out pressure & she checked in on me at all the right moments all while being able to help another family. ( coming from a Customer service background... well balanced service is a plus & a skill that's shows the importance of making sure a customer feels comfortable and valued and adequately tended to!) The second part is being fitted & Jeanine was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable in the importance of making sure the glasses fit properly and even explained the difference in comfort I would feel between both pairs I was looking into. She listened to how I usually wear my glasses and educated me on the placement and risk of wearing ones that would have a tendency to fall down and present discomfort on the bridge of my nose (which I would have never considered simply because I didn't know that was a thing). I admired and trusted her experience as the expert. Which made me even more confident in my choice that laura had recommended. My experience with americas best in holmdel was exceptional from start to finish & I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants genuine and authentic service ! I have been coming here for a few years now. I started just as an inexpensive place to get eyeglasses in addition to going to my ophthalmologist. Doctor Lim and the tech that does the exam are wonderful. The entire process is explain to you while it's happening.And also , the doctor goes over everything afterwards. You are never rushed or pushed through when you're here. All of the employees are absolutely wonderful , but I really want to say how Michelle is top notch. She is very friendly and sweet and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I really feel comfortable after leaving here that my eyes are in great hands.

Super easy to apply online, got a call the next day to confirm my insurance. Front lady was super kind and patient when i had a few questions i was wondering. Place was comfortable and eveyone was supper friendly. The exams went pretty good, both workers that helped me were welcoming. I had Laura help me pick out frames to see which would be best, she listened to what I was thinking of getting and did bring out some recommendations to me :D I really loved the place and experience, thank you Laura agian I loved your energy and your personality

Okay, I needed my glasses repaired. I was in and out within 5 minutes of service. Janine was a very big help.I lost a screw for my glasses. I went in asked if they could put a new one in, they did that within 5 minutes I was done and had the best service ever with Janine.

had a fantastic experience at this store. I was greeted the moment I walked in by a friendly receptionist. No wait time for the exam. My technician was super polite and explained every machine and what it would check. He had a calming presence that put me completely at ease. Next was the Dr. who was incredibly patient, kind and thorough. He showed me the images of my eyes along with a detailed explanation on what he is checking for. I never felt rushed and he asked me if I had any questions. I wish all Drs were like this. Finally I had the pleasure to meet Matthew who helped me pick my new pair of glasses. He was above and beyond what I hoped for. He is warm with great energy He helped me understand what to look when it comes to fitting and comfort. Another great recommendation he gave me was to take selfies of myself in the candidate frames. He gave me plenty of space so I could browse around without feeling pressured. He was like the friend you wish you brought to help you choose your frames. What an absolute gem. Speaking of gems I also want to bring up the manager Michelle. She was meticulous about measuring my eyes to fit my new frames.. She was so friendly and helpful. I could tell that her staff adores her. *I* adore her! I walked in not expecting much(lukewarm experiences in the past with competitors)I walked out feeling like a queen who received the royal treatment. Thank you so much for helping me. I can't wait for my new glasses to come in! I will only be using this store for my eyes in the future.

Had an amazing experience! Matthew was so kind and patient with my daughter who was not in the mood that day. He connected with her and made her laugh. Becca helped us with contacts and was amazing. My daughter tried at a different place and left with both eyes looking like pink eye. Becca on the other hand got her to take them in and out many times. Becca was calm and gave clear perfect instructions. I was so impressed my husband has become a customer and I plan on switching as well.

When I walked in and was greeted by Mia, I knew I was in the right place. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura to find my perfect frames. I must say, we had fun while doing so. She was extremely helpful, honest and patient, making it a great experience. Dr. Lin was the warmest, most professional doctor who made me feel completely at ease. At one point the manager, Michelle assisted with measuring my pupillary distance and once again, one of the kindest most down to earth people I've met. I hiiiiiighly recommend. Also, $95 (no tax!) for the exam and 2 pairs of frames. Can't beat it.

My name is Joe DAgosto. I just had a wonderful experience with Dr Lin, Tina and Michelle in Holmdel, NJ. The exam was thorough, easily scheduled and comforting. The doctor took the time to talk to me, answering my questions and concerns. Honestly everyone was so friendly but I got to sit with Tina and Michele who were patient and efficient in assisting me with eye glasses. They all possess a value of customer care that is rarely seen anymore. Thank you to them both and thank you AB for employing such wonderful people.
