Walmart Vision & Glasses

Had my prescription lens done here, they told me I couldn't use my frames I had purchased elsewhere so I bought 2 of the same frames from them, no big deal. This was a little before Christmas & I had a hectic travel schedule. Picked up in the new yr & Realized a few days later that the magnification part on my bifocals were blurry at a certain distance, tried all my old glasses plus a generic pair I had bought on Temu, they were all fine. Went back to Walmart & explained my situation to optician, she spoke to me in the most condescending manner telling me I needed to speak with my Dr who wrote the prescription even When I explained that their lens were the only one I was having issues with. I traveled to Thailand about 2 days later & took the same frame they said they couldn't use, used the same prescription, got the same material type of lens , they did it in 2 days for less than 1/3 the price I paid with all the same features, no blurriness, I think Walmart did not measure the placement of the small part of then lens properly, not sure but I definitely will not me using them again & certainly would not recommend using them to anyone looking to get prescription lens. This place does have decent frames that actually look good & solid for under $50 and as low as $10 if you don't want break the bank or pay for overpriced brand name frames which they also do have, hence the 2 stars because service and satisfaction alone would make this place a 1 star.

One of the best vision center in town. Ellen and Denise were kind and super helpful from scheduling my eye exam to helping me find my Meta prescription glasses using my insurance. Would highly recommend!

My insurance paid for it. The prices are reasonable if you get cheaper frames, the prescription lens is the more expensive part. The machines that they use to measure your eyes works well and it gave me a good prescription.

This optical is super clean and organized. Staff is super sweet and helpful. The manager Lenny is knowledge always happy to help. Doctor Lammens is super professional. He really cares about his patients. Thank you for your service!

We had no issues with the attitudes of customer service (a common complaint). Everyone was friendly and generally polite. But we made an appointment for 12:20 and at 1:20 we still had not been seen by the doctor. I really ask myself, what was the point of the appointment? They accept walk-ins according to one of the customer service representatives, but those walk-ins then push back the appointments made by others. I understand the doctor and the center are trying to work to max capacity and patients=money, but this is just bad practice to retain customers. We likely won't be back as appointments are simply useless. People have work and lives. I can understand a 15-30 minute delay but 1 hour is just too much.

I've had better, the doctor was extremely nice and most of the workers are as well, but I just got off the phone with the "Office Manager" Amanda, and she was so rude! I was just trying to ask about my prescription which she reminded me I missed the follow-up. I was willing to do a new exam since I liked the doctor but she was so rude I figured I take my business elsewhere. I'm sure it wont make a difference if I stayed or not, but I don't need someone to treat me like crap either!

very nice, attentive, knowledgeable, hard working team. my visits were very efficient. i came in with a prescription from another doctor and ordered glasses and contacts. my prescription is very high therefore sensitive. took ~7-10 days to come in. will be back in the future

Great experience with great people at vision center Walmart, Kearny. The manager himself & all the members of his team especially Rafeal & Allen with whom I had a chance to interact all are very nice, caring, helpful, patient as well as excellent in their profession. For me its the best vision center I would like to visit for buying or ordering my glasses or lenses. Thanks a lot for saving my time & effort.
