ReFocus Eye Health

This is my first time at this practice because I needed a local emergency ophthalmologist, and the practice I used before had been sold. So I made an appointment based on Google reviews. I had an appointment with Dr. Matthew, and he was absolutely exceptional! His time, was very thorough and explained everything. He took time to answer all the questions I had. But everyone from the front desk staff to the tattoo song to the doctor coming in like professional and fabulous! I highly recommend this practice! Dr Matthew is amazing!

My appointment was 9 o'clock.I was there at 8:50. I couldn't believe how long they made me wait because of an error with my referral. It didn't take but 15 minutes to get the correct referral and they made me wait 1hr. to take me back for my appointment. I could understands if I was a new patient. I've been coming to this office for years. That was unacceptable. Not happy with this office.

Roughly 8 MONTHS after my appointment, ReFocus Eye Health has charged my credit card a substantial amount with no warning or approval on my end. When I called them, they said I signed paperwork that allows them to charge me whatever they want, whenever they want, without any input on my end. (Apparently, this was in the very fine print hidden in a mountain of text when I used my card to pay the copay!) Apparently, their billing department has been on a frenzy, because they stated they had received many such calls about this issue recently. This is completely unacceptable. The office tells you to call billing, while billing tells you to call the insurance, who in turn tells you to call back to the office. Meanwhile billing says it takes one to two weeks to even review any charges. The doctors, assistants, and receptionists were all extremely professional. But their billing practices should be considered criminal, and now I have to deal with my financial institution over this matter. If you MUST use ReFocus Eye Health, I recommend paying cash, because if they get your card on file, it's a free for all on their end. I will update this review as this issue progresses.

5 Star care from Dr. Heuer and Dr. Grossman at Refocus Eye Health in Marlton! I had a really great experience at this location. Dr. Heuer was extremely detailed during my exam and took the time to explain everything clearly about my eye health. She didn't rush the visit at all and made sure I fully understood what she was seeing. I really appreciated how thorough she was -- she noticed something during my exam and recommended that I see specialist, Dr. Grossman, to seek furthertreatment to maximizemy eye health. Dr. Grossman was just as impressive. He was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring, and he explained everything in a way that made me feel confident and comfortable. You can tell both doctors truly care about their patients and take pride in providing top-quality care. All the staff members at Refocus Eye Health were also friendly, efficient, and professional from start to finish. The office is clean, modern, and well-organized, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I definitely recommend Dr. Heuer, Dr. Grossman, and the whole team at Refocus Eye Health in Marlton. It's rare to find a place where the doctors are this thorough and genuinely invested in your care.

Had my annual vision check up at ReFocus Eye Health. The receptionists were friendly and professional. The technician "Daniella" was also friendly and professional. Dr. Andrew was exceptional, excellent in all of the testing and made you feel comfortable.

Came and let the receptionist know I had an appointment for an eye exam and she told me to go to the second floor which is not even an eye doctor. When i came back down to inquire again, she couldn't be bothered to talk or help me even though I had an appointment just like anyone else. I've experienced similar things before and I can't help but to think that it is rooted in prejudice and racism. I would not recomend this place to anyone. Please do not support this business.

Nice place. Everyone were very polite. Dr. Glass is 1st class! Only thing is they hound you for payment. They tell you that you have an outstanding balance & what you owe. I didn't even received a statement from my insurance company to tell me what I owe. That's just aggravating too me. Like the $43 I owe after the insurance payed them is going to break them.

I came here for neurological. Was given a non-neuro doc. Whoever he was, the exam accomplished nothing. The prescription he arrived at, is worse than the glasses I currently have. I explained that to him and his response was that he had been doing this for 40 years. I didnt bother taking the script with me since I now have to go somewhere else and start all over again. The neuro doc's next appt available was 3 and a half mos away. Total waste of time.
