I took my son to see Dr. Wexler for an eye infection. My son missed a few days of school because of it. I called the office to see if I could get a note for school and they said no because the doctor said my son could Have gone to school. I've never heard any doctor in all the 20 years that I've had kids say this. I would never go back to office or recommend them to anyone.

Appointment was incorrectly booked and ended up being in the office for over 2 hours. The office was understaffed upon our arrival and the singular receptionist was overwhelmed. At the end of the appointment, we were pressured into $800 glasses. When I tried to call and cancel the glasses the next day, it took them 4 days to call me back to tell me we would not be allowed to cancel the order. I have been coming to this office for over 25 years, but I feel I must find a new eye care provider. This has been an unfortunate experience.

I met with Dr. Brown and she was amazing. She was very through and gently during the exams. She took the time to explain every thing to my understanding. She was patient and compassionate She was also right on point with her diagnosis. The medical start are amazing. They were very warm, and welcoming. A great place for all your ophermatology needs Dr. Brown comes highly recommend.

Brought our 2 and half month old for an eye infection/clogged duct. We were refered here by our pediatrician. We were told they will only see our child if we pay $60 for an eye exam. Despite it having nothing to do with why we were there, The lady behind the counter said they will deny us treatment unless we pay for the eye test. Turns out my 2 month old does not need contact lenses.

I would give zero stars if possible for Dr. Amy Wexler. I was a patient with this office for over 10 years. I never expected such horrid care for my son at this practice. I called and asked PRIOR to his appointment if Dr. Wexler would be able to accommodate my child because he is autistic. The office staff said she could, but with how awful she treated him, she is NOT qualified to handle autistic children. She showed no compassion, no patience, no understanding, and no empathy at all towards my son. When she said she needed to dilate his eyes, and I tried to explain that at 3 years old with his sensory needs that that will be extremely uncomfortable for him, she got rude and flippant that without dilation, she cannot do the appointment. I said then I need to have a doctors note for him to miss school because I cannot send him after dilation. She proceeded to rudely tell me that there's no reason he cannot attend school and that he would be perfectly fine, if he has no problem looking at a screen (my phone) he can go to school no problem. She then told me to lay him across my lap so she can administer the drops. I didn't even get him in a comfortable position and she came at him with the eye drops, never explained to him what she was doing, and even hit his eyeball with the tip of the dropper. I told her can you please slow down and talk to him because he has receptive language and you're only making it worse for us all just coming at him. Of course while she leaves us for 20 minutes and the drops start to work and now my son is uncomfortable, upset, and laying on the floor because he's not understanding fully why his eyes are bothering him. He wants nothing to do with my phone because it's hurting him and he's rubbing his eyes. When she returned, she still insisted on doing the exam without talking to him and explaining what she's doing. Just coming at him no matter how distressed he was. The entire office treated us like garbage because my son was having a sensory overload and melting down and they treated us like he's just a misbehaved child. They didn't even give me a doctors note to excuse him for the day, they signed a sheet of paper saying he can return to school. This was the worst appointment I've ever had to take my child to and that doctor should never be allowed near special needs children at all. They marked him as nonverbal and figured he's too incompetent to understand anything and treated him worst than garbage. They took no time to try to help him understand what was happening and gave no care about giving him a traumatizing appointment.

Staff were not professional; I heard Dr. Miller say "Let's get this over with" in a not-so-nice tone before he entered my exam room. He had not meant for me to hear, but still -- you can imagine the whole experience was quite negative. I also overheard other staff unnecessarily gossiping about other patients. Even though HIPAA was not strictly broken, they risk breaking it later.

After delaying my cataract surgery over 5 years , yesterday I went to see Dr Nachbar and within minutes he made me feel very comfortable, very secure and very excited , to get this finally done. What a amazing personality he has and great staff can't wait for the call to schedule first eye

Dr Brown thorough and professional. Support staff has no idea how to handle custom prescriptions. I was left in limbo with one for four/five days for eye mites and still have no idea of its status.
