Dr Mobin is amazing but the Office Manager is very rude and condescending. My Mom Cataract surgery was scehduled for june so I requested to move it earlier as she was traveling. She checked with dr and called to get pre checkups- Physical Exam: "if you get it done by your PCP you will be responsible if any thing missed thats why we suggest dr we have in New Brunswick" Eye Lens Mesaurement: Schedule appointment but have to be before Dr Mobin Appointment, Mobin APpointment not possible in location we go to, so either Edison or New Brunswick. I asked I cant take that many days off and need job. So, asked for Cranbury office. She was so rude" I am trying to work on you mom case, moved the surgery, I cant give you appointment at Cranbury, You can keep June Surgery then" After that she said I am being rude as she is accomdating and not supporting mom health. I have to pay the hefty bills that will come out of these visits, so I need Job. We all have our job and limitations but unfortunate to see how rude people and the audacity to say they are being supportive. When I said Why should I be responsible for physical if anything missed- Technically Dr order Physica and Dr knows how to do physical. how am I supposed to know whats missed and what didnt do right. her response "Wow you are unbelivable" But didnt get the response. and ofcourse now decided to cancel the surgery and wait for initial suggested date in summer. How she can decide whats best for patien. Honestly, I feel exhausted of dealined offce which lacks humanity. I have also worked at dr office. And I know the job is not easy but at the sametime I understand that people dont come to dr for fun and as office person I can dictate when I can cancel surgery and ask patient to deal with it only because they request out of so many appointments one at closer location. In today's economy with expensive medical bills one need job to mange it all. What bothered me most is her tone to convey she is already doing a favor by scheduling surgery before june. Its not a favor!

I was under Dr. Mobin-Uddin's care for more than ten years. During this period, my intraocular pressure was repeatedly recorded at levels exceeding 23 mmHg. These elevated pressures were not adequately addressed or managed. My vision deteriorated significantly, resulting in permanent visual impairment. This loss of vision ultimately rendered me unable to continue in my profession and led to my retirement several years earlier than planned. In addition, I experienced repeated administrative issues with Dr. Mobin-Uddin's office. On multiple occasions, prescriptions were sent to a mail-order pharmacy despite my explicit and repeated requests that they be sent to a local pharmacy due to the urgency of my condition. These delays further affected timely access to necessary treatment.
