Horrible location. Stopped by due to my insurance recommending this spot. The front desk clerk and the manager are both clueless and lazy! They were sitting down and gossiping rather than helping customers.. They have no idea what they're doing. They kept proceeding to tell me that they don't accept my insurance. I told both of them that yes it is accepted, as it's listed online and also I spoke to a representative with my insurance company. They then said oh "Well we do accept your insurance, but not your plan" How does that even make sense when there is only 1 type of insurance with my plan. I called my insurance plan again to double check, the representative again told me that I was covered and the location should accept my insurance. Therefore, I tried calling them this time with the insurance agent on the phone and the lazy front desk lady picked up and said 1 minute and proceeded to have us wait for close to twenty minutes in which I decided to hang up and go somewhere else after that. This place is useless and if corporate is seeing this, they should reevaluate their customer service training. No one has a clue what they are doing!

I came in a couple days ago with my grandmother to get my daughter some toys and we stopped by this optometrist to see if we could fix my glasses and it went well but one of these tiny clear things that hold the glasses by the nose fell the day after and I didn't know what happened.

I called ahead to make an appointment to get an eye exam for contact lenses. I was told to come at 5pm and that it was a walk-in. I arrived at 4:50pm. Around 5pm, a staff member said that I came too late because the optometrist was leaving at 5pm. She added that I should've called prior to coming. I told her that I did call and was told to come in at 5pm. At that point, another staff member said, "she did call and we did tell her to come at 5. the doctor just doesn't want to see her." I didn't bother arguing. Even if the doctor saw me, I really didn't want someone who did not want to see me (and upset) examining my eyes. Very disappointed.

I took my 5 years old daughter today and it was a wonderful experience, Dr. Diana Espaillat was so kind and thoughtful, she explained every steps of the exams to my daughter and made her feel safe that she even let the Dr put drops in her eyes without any objections.

There is no problem with the eye exam procedure done at this particular location. However, make sure you ask the doctor if you can get your PD number. If he/she says sure, good for you.
I forgot to do this, and I called, they said whoever's going to make my eyeglasses will measure the PD. In my case, I'm ordering frames online and I asked them if I could get the PD measurement but they refused.
I heard at COSTCO which costs $10 more for the eyeglasses exam has no problem providing you the PD measure, so I would recommend you to try COSTCO first.
I wish they could've reminded me of that during the procedure, I didn't know about PD measurement so I'm left with no PD number after paying full price for the eye exam.
Bottom line:
Their selection of frames is limited and they don't want to give you the PD measure - what should be part of the service - just because you aren't purchasing the frames from them. Pay $10 more and go to Costco.
