I attempted to schedule an appointment three separate times, but the front desk experience was incredibly disappointing. Each time, my call was placed on hold immediately upon being picked up. On one occasion, a staff member finally spoke to me, only to put me back on hold indefinitely without ever returning to the line. It is nearly impossible to get through to actually speak with someone, which makes me question the efficiency of the rest of the practice.

Dr. Darvin is EXCELLENT!!! He has been my doctor for years and I only trust him with my eye health. I have had emergencies and he is always willing to see and fit me in his schedule without hesitation, which is not easy to find a doctor who cares so much about his patients. The girls at the front desk are amazing, they are all so caring and respectful with all patients. They all have superb customer service skills and are always willing to help with accommodating and answering questions. Tania and Mery always go above and beyond to help me every single time, regardless of whatever I need, I love how I can count on them! Every time I leave the office, I feel happy because of how I am taken care of by every one. My parents see Dr. Darvin too and needless to say they absolutely love him and all the girls too, my dad treats them like best friends because they all speak Spanish to him. I absolutely recommend this place for any eye needs you have, you will not regret coming here.

I just want to say this... I don't understand if the receptionists understand the meaning of an "appointment" every single time I come here with an appointment I'm waiting for over 2 hours and that's EVERY SINGLE TIME my last visit I asked the receptionist if she can give me an early appointment where I don't have to sit so long she said "I can't control that" like girl!! That's literally your job! But what do I know! Today they called us in 2 hours early just to sit for another hour. Like truly make it make sense!!!

I called 4 times in a matter of two days. Each time someone would answer the phone and say please hold and never return. They would hang up the phone instead. Horrible.

Refused entrance of service dog. Had to call office manager to make sure and then said "no the dog can't come in". Also not easy with a wheelchair. I was asked "can they stand?" I said no, and was told to go around back and go through a gray door. This is illegal. Read the Americans with disabilities act!

Had an eye emergency with a family member. They were kind, helpful and saw her right away!

I have been a long time patient of both Dr. Darvin and Dr. Santamaria and have received excellent care from both over the years.On Feb.7,2017 I had an emergency that required attention. I called the office and my call was promptly answered and I was given an appointment within an hour.I was so relieved to be seen in such a timely manner,for this office is an incredibly busy practice.The office staff was friendly and professional and patient.They always are.As I left after seeing Dr. Darvin, I felt very fortunate to have such wonderful care for my eyes. The staff explained what was being done as part of my examination and I never felt rushed. Dr. Darvin also examined me thoroughly and gave me a clear explanation of what was causing my problem. He took the needed time to assess my situation and patiently explained my course of treatment .!I can't say thank you enough to Dr. Darvin,Dr. Santamaria and staff for the outstanding medical care they deliver.You are all wonderful

Highly Recommend! Dr. Darvin is really professional and caring. I went to him as a second option, he knew the issue and symptoms and explained it very well for me to understand my options. Did great operation on my stye, all I have asked for in a good eye doctor came true. Will definitely recommend him and Santamaria Eye Center to others. The wait was painless, the staff were nice and greeted me with warm manner. All good vibe.
