Walmart Vision & Glasses

Staff at the center are always friendly and ready to help. It feels like we are there bi-weekly adjusting my very active toddler son's glasses from roughhousing/ wear and tear. Timothy has helped us multiple times and is always super friendly and interactive with my son while he adjusts his glasses. 10/10 recommend!

I lost my glasses to the ocean. In a panic, I began calling optometrists to try to get an appointment for my expired prescription (3+ year old perscription). They were able to squeeze me in last minute and had me in and out within approximately 25 minutes with a new perscription that I could take elsewhere to cut a pair of lenses. I am very happy with the services offered here today and I would *highly* recommend anyone to come to this location. The staff was wonderful and I am only able to provide this review as a token of my appreciation. tl;dr: Lost glasses to ocean, this location helped get me another pair within a few hours.

I can't say how thankful and grateful I am for the eye doctor that helped me this past weekend. I was on vacation with my husband in cape may and i usually take my glasses off if im going to go swimming in the ocean. Well since we were only up to our calves in water, i left my glasses on because we were trying to collect sea shells for our young daughters back at home in north jersey. I bent down to grab a shell and was hit in the face with a strong wave and my glasses were knocked off my face. I know that some eye centers can make new glasses on site depending on your prescription, but since I am extremely near sighted and have astigmatism (my right eye is a -10 and my left is a -9), My husband called 5 different places and no one could make glasses for me.I had no idea what to do and was crying thinking that our vacation was over. My husband thought we could try this walmart vision center to see if they could do anything for me. We decided to ask if they had contacts that could come anywhere near my prescription since I was so desperate. The eye doctor was already about to leave and at the last minute took me in and got a pair of contacts for me so I could see. He gave me the contacts, a case and small bottle of solution and said "instead of spending over $100 of your vacation money, im going to give you these free of charge, I hope you enjoy your vacation", i literally wanted to sob from being so grateful. If you ever end up in my situation or are looking for an eye center, i would 1000% recommend to come here!! Thank you so much for all of your help!!

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses yesterday. Timothy waited on me very nice, kind and so very helpful. They have a nice selection in eye-ware and very reasonable I was very surprised. Will definitely purchase glasses there again, instead of the oven priced stores. Plus they sell hearing aids right in this department.

I love the Walmart vision center in Rio Grande. The staff is kind, helpful and patient. On my most recent trip I had amazing help from a young man named Zach. I would highly recommend anyone to use this location for both eye exams and the purchase of contacts/glasses!

As a first time glasses wearer, Tim Renyo made me feel comfortable and at ease. He helped me pick the perfect glasses and was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. You are in good hands with Tim. A+++++ Highly recommend!

I've been going to Walmart vision center store #0337 in Rio Grande, NJ for 10 years. The vision center manager Timothy Renyo RNAO is always pleasant, articulate & knowledgeable with prescription eye wear! I've had at least 10 pairs of eyeglass prescriptions filled & never was disappointed. I've always been pleased with the professionalism & patience I'd receive & never disappointed in all these years! I could not have gotten better care than what I received from Lorraine. My glasses were off center and even though they were closing for the day she took them and fixed them even staying late to do it. Better yet........no charge. I recvd outstanding service and I thank Lorraine immensely.
