Everything went exceptionally smoothly. The parking lot had space. The offices were neat and clean. The staff was courteous and professional. Between checking in, meeting 2 different techs, a nurse, followed by a very thorough examination (plus's explanation ) of my eyes by Dr Madreperla, I was out of there in about an hour! I have been coming to NJ Retina for close to 15 years, and have never had an issue to complain about! I would recommend them to anyone who needs to see a retina specialist! I was in and out within the hour!

In July 2024, I had surgery for a detached retina. NJRetina performed the surgery and handled the follow up recovery. It has been a very challenging time for me and they were there every step of the way. Dr. Sultan, Dr. Wang and the other doctors in the practice were wonderful; along with the office staff. Without NJRetina, I would not have vision in my left eye. I am thankful for everything they have done.

The wait time horrific. I had to wait over an hour with my 94 year old mother. This is happens for every appointment no matter what time of day the appointment is for. Yesterday it was A 9:15 AM appointment and we weren't seen until 10:30 AM. The time spent with the doctor was 10 minutes. Completely unacceptable again.

When you have an appointment with NJ Retina, you are seen by a tech before you see the doctor. She updates your medications, asks if you are noticing a difference in your vision, tests for eye pressure, has you read the eye chart, and puts the appropriate drops in your eyes. On my visit on February 25, i was lucky to have Amy as my tech. She was so friendly, explained everything perfecttly, has a great sense of humor, and made her part of the appointment very pleasurable. I hopevto have Amy at my next appointment. The docs are awesome, as well.
