Was not impressed by the Dr or the facilities last year. Dr wanted to schedule elective surgeries, give referrals for skin. But my glasses seemed to be the last thing on his mind. I have been wearing glasses since I was 5yrs old. And have had better perscriptions from COSTCO for a lot less $$. I didn't write a review. I just didn't go back. But today I get an appointment reminder for an appointment I did not make. (Made by their system last year). With threats of a $25.00 missed appointment fee/cancelation fee. I THINK NOT! I quickly pick up the phone and call the office and she proceeded to tell me yes this is how they operate. Lost a patient for life and I'm warning others! Beware this place is like cattle medicine. They will max out insurance with needless procedures. (I paid cash) Fill the waiting room with appointments made by a computer. And the glasses sold in the lobby by the rude women there are under no obligation to be correct. They are not affiliated with the Dr who's office they work out of. Will not order frames in the correct size. And if your not happy not being able to see out of $600.00 worth of services too bad. BUYER BEWARE!

I'm very pleased with my experiences at Southwestern Eye Center. The staff is always friendly and competent, and I really trust Dr. Petracca. There is usually a long wait to see him, but I don't mind because I know he doesn't rush his patients and spends as much time with them as they need. How do I know this? That's what he does with me when I see him.

Brian Petracca is the Best Optometrist in Deming, NM. He makes you feel comfortable, he explains everything That is needed to know. He's Friendly & also, Very Professional. His staff is also very friendly & helpful as well.

Received eye examination. Asked if I wanted to do cataract removal said i was interested .they said someone would call to set up appointment. It's been 2 weeks no call. I called them and said I wanted to order my glasses not going to do the removal. Now there telling me I need to get my eyes checked again to get my prescription.

I don't know how this gets a 4 star review. If you are not the first patient you can count on a minimum 2hr wait. They pack the tiny waiting room with 15 to 20 people. The restroom is right next to the waiting room. When someone has a bowel movement in it, everyone gets to enjoy it. Fetish people will love this place!

MY WORST GRIPE IS THAT WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME WAITING, MY APPOINTMENT TIME WAS 8:30, AN HOUR LATER I WAS CALLED BACK, FOR THE FIRST PROCEDURE, WE WERE THERE ALMOST 2 HOURS, I REALLY LIKE DR. PATRACCA !

Excellent, professional staff and Dr. They took time to discuss a number of issues and to provide education. The facility is clean, neat and well equipped.
