Eye Associates of New Mexico

I arrived to a very busy office. My check in went perfect. The front staff was so friendly and helped me through the process. I had a seat and felt right at home. A very organized and clean lobby and waiting area. I was taken back for different parts of my eye exam. Very friendly assistants. Everything ran so smoothly. My Dr. Was excellent. He understood my needs and answered all my questions. In short this office definitely went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you to the Doctors and complete team at the Los Lunas Eye Associates. I appreciate each and every one of you!

The doctor and one of five others I dealt with regarding cataracts were friendly and helpful. I am disappointed they couldn't perform all the tests I needed at the Los Lunas location and now I need to go back to Albuquerque. But I would definitely trust the doctor I saw-- Dr Molly R-- again and trust she will do the job. She didn't push the most expensive options, which might not last with my dry eyes. I appreciate a conservative doctor who doesn't take risks that might lead to more surgeries.

Front staff was very professional and helpful. Optometry staff was also, they did not make me feel bad about not coming back for care in a CB long time. I was very grateful for that and am glad I'm now associated with a professional, thorough and competent staff at this practice.

About par for the course in New Mexico...average and basically competent but not exceptional. I have met with exceptional ophthalmologists out of state. Dr Shaikh was not one of those. He seemed visibly irritated with me because I would not answer his questions that he DEMANDED a yes or no answer to with a simple yes or no. In my opinion a yes or no answer was not sufficient because the honest and complete answer was more nuanced than that. He did not fully and genuinely listen to what I was telling him even though he was obviously trying to push me in one direction for the answer he wanted or that the insurance company tells/told him to get. So I just finally gave up trying. Therefore I left the appointment with as bad of a physical eye issue as I entered. Definitely a god complex. Or he may be someone just bored and easily irritated because of the monotony of their profession. It was hard to tell while I was being lectured. His final "medical advice" even though my left eye vision is totally obstructed.. Was to eat more pineapple. Front desk was friendly and professional and so were the technicians. (For the record... THEY texted me and asked for a review.) (Also get a second opinion like I did because the second opinion was completely different than what I was told here)

Dr Casias is beyond wonderful. She's kind and caring and was helpful with treating a chronic issue I've had with my eyes for many years. So very grateful for her and the staff.

Staff was very pleasant and professional. Took very good care of me and were concerned about my needs. They were prompt and I didn't need to wait long.

my appointment was at 1:40 and I got in at 3 o'clock. It was way too long of a wait but much to my surprise. This young doctor was very respectful and seemed very smart about what she was doing. She was worth the wait.

Dr. Armentrout is fantastic, he's efficient, kind, professional and very informative. He made me feel so much better about what was happening with my vision and made sure I understood everything. His staff is also wonderful! Very kind and efficient! I will definitely recommend him/them to everyone I know!
